missing the call is going to overshadow yet more questionable decision making by westbrook and melo as well as delirious lineup management by donovan late. dre was hurt? ok. where's adams? why is melo in?

Adams wasn't in because the Bucks went extremely small. It was Bledsoe, Brogdon, Snell, Middleton, and Giannis.

And he went 5/12, instead of 5/20 like he did against the nets. At least it appears like he may have learned something.

They didn't lose position in the standings really. Wouldn't even be bothered if it didn't end that way. Just a crap way to end a game.

The refs were looking at Giannis's body for contact, not his feet. That's why

Sub Melo for Adams and put him on Giannis. Huestis/Melo can't guard Giannis one on one. All you had to do was force him away from the paint.

He was terrible defensively and his offensive holes got exposed without PG in the lineup.

Getting tired of the product the NBA is putting out. Adams gets tackled and called for a foul, Huestis gets a charge reversed, and they can't even look at the guys foot inches away from them. NBA has to fix this crap. Getting tired of handing my money over to watch this crap.

I missed the whole first half and just laughed when I saw Abrines's line.

I'm happy for you guys though. Kidd was actually pretty decent today, and pretty much ran circles around Donovan. Maybe the hot seat is lighting a fire in his ass

It's crappy to lose this game because of the final missed call by the refs. If this were any Thunder season form 2012-2016 where we knew without a doubt we'd win 55-60 games and at least reach the WCF if healthy, then losing a game in this fashion wouldn't've been a big deal. But because we had to scrap and claw to overcome a MAJORLY disappointing start just to get to five games above .500, losing this game in the fashion we lost hurts. It hurts bad.
But, we cannot come out as careless and haphazardly as we did and fall behind by 22 in the 1st quarter and expect to win. The biggest/main reason we lost this game is because of a hole we dug ourselves. The rest of the game, when questionable calls didn't go our way, or a bounce of the ball with flukishly in the Bucks favor, are a lot less "blameable" when you fall behind 33-11 in the 1st quarter.
So yes, the refs made a semi-questionable call on Roberson for an illegal pick on a play where we hit a three to cut the lead to one in the 3rd quarter. And yes, the refs missed a play where Giannis clearly stepped out of bounds on his game winning drive. But if we come out and just play our C game instead of our F-- game in the 1st quarter, we still win this game semi-comfortably.
Now, how the baseline official isn't intentionally watching the ball-handler's feet on a baseline drive, especially in a last second situation in a tie game, is beyond me; but we put ourselves in a situation to be griping about it right now because we dug ourselves a 33-11 hole in the 1st quarter.

Ya we got away with some bull****, you guys got robbed. Would've loved to see some OT. But you guys are looking scary w/ a healthy PG13. Rooting for you guys in the West playoffs

It's also the reason we didn't beat the Raptors by 35 instead of 17. Unfortunately for Abrines, when he's been on the floor the last two games our +/- numbers have been comically terrible. The last two games he hasn't even looked like a G-League caliber player. We survived it against the Raptors because we were at full strength and Adams played well. Tonight, we were missing George and Adams had such an awful game he got dominated by a pretty bad starting center in John Henson and we couldn't overcome Abrines' ineptitude.
Hopefully tonight is enough to convince Donovan to permanently bench Abrines and enough for Presti to realize he absolutely has to make a move at the deadline to shore up our bench.
