Jah isn't a shooter at all. And putting him out there takes him away from his real strength, scoring at the rim.

You're sounding like the RHJ detractors. Again, homie is 22.

RHJ is being played at 4 to maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses.

Right like the jump shot he never had which is now automatic? and eventually will extend to the 3 point line while Nets fans wanted him traded or thought he was a bust. That strength?

It doesn't hurt to play him a few mins at PF to see if we can run a specific line up with both playing at the same time. Plus, then everyone who hates Acy will be happy since that means less minutes for him at PF. If Jah and Jarrett can't play together, no big deal. Win/Win as far as I'm concerned.

but, I'm with you in a sense that we really don't want JA to be drawn out to the perimeter when we need him in the paint causing havoc on both ends. so, i'm interested to see what Kenny comes up with.

I've been a supporter of Crabbe but of the starters, he's really the one likely to be replaced when Russell comes back. Zeller fits what this team is asking of their center, and only a developed Allen can supplant him of that (who is improving, but not quite there yet).

Caris attacks more than Din which opens up the 2nd unit more vs the starters, but you can also see the effect that Harris BBIQ and movement has on the offense. He just does a much better job of cutting and position himself (or hockey assist for others. That's something that Crabbe isn't doing right now from the SG spot in our starting lineup.

With Din more conservative than Caris (although Miami game he was more aggressive I thought compared to previous games) and Crabbe not playing better than Joe (unless he's hot from downtown), not to mention the talent discrepancy of starters vs bench anyway, it's understandable that our starters have struggled more vs our bench.

I see Din/Russell/Dmc/Rhj/Zeller as starters, with Caris/joe/Crabbe/Acy/Allen (or Kenny's experimental Jah/Ja) when everyone healthy.

If by some fluke Jarrett Allen and Jahlil Okafor become a dynamic on court duo can we call them JarJah?

Couldnt agree more.... we need a guy who defends and finishes. not some 7 foot PF who stans in the corner waiting to shoot a three. we finally got the guy we need at the 5 and we are gonna move him to PF so that a poor mans brook lopez can play 1980s type bigman basketball?

no thanks

huh? why would it make you sick. Jah is the one that's going to spread the floor, Afro will be SnR as will him. It's about evolving their game.

i want them both to be centers. let okafor be our greg monroe providing offense off the bench. id rather him learning how to set a screen instead of shooting threes.

RHJ is our PF. and by far our best player. we dont need allen at PF

Yeah I think you have to shift Crabbe onto the 2nd unit and let Dinwiddie and Russell start.

Crabbe will have to compete for minutes at SG with Stauskas. Joe Harris has earned his minutes at back up SF.

Eventually what you'll see is Zeller, who has been a solid player, give way to Allen in the starting line up. For now though, Zeller has earned his time. Jahlil will have to give us some solid mins to eventually push him on the bench for good. I think Kenny wants to keep Zeller in the mix which is why he wants to see if he can use the dual center line up in spots.
