Game 34: Los Angeles Clippers (14-19) @ Los Angeles Lakers (11-22) - LOSS - 11-23

Just watched the game on the DVR..... well... I scanned most of it. We looked lost on the defensive end again. The league has adjusted to our switching approach and our line ups had a lot of guys who haven't logged a lot of minutes together.

Individuals had better shooting games than the Memphis game and 106 points could easily win a game like this so that's not where the problem was..... it's defense, defense..... defense. We fell behind in the first quarter with a unit that hasn't played together much and then played them just about point for point the rest of the way. The starters ranged in ± from -18 (Ingram) to -9 (Kuzma). Clarkson had a +1 in 35 minutes off the bench. I'm not a big fan of ± as a forward indicator but this was an interesting box score stat for this game. Turnovers were under control at 12. Nance and Clarkson off the bench had more assists that the starters combined.

Thanks for the recap, LB. That's a very good point regarding playing a unit that hasn't played together, but I liked the move. Problem is, there'll be another shuffling when KCP can't play. Probably where Vander Blue comes in. Nance and JC off the bench should be kept.

I wonder if Luke will adjust with the switching. They should.

Some horrible losses lately. But, hey, Kuzma--I see you, bro!
