Barton is a 6th man, he like most bench players runs hot and cold, it is not his fault that Malone has made the decision to overplay him and put him into situations where his game is not suited. He is not a PG, he is not a primary scorer, he is not a finisher, he cannot shut down anybody to be a defensive stopper, and he does not have the skills or talent to be any of those things. He is a scoring guard that is best used as a 6th man for energy and scoring off the bench for about 20 mpg on average with him getting 25-28 minutes when he has a great game and 15-18 minutes on his bad games.

Should anyone be surprised that Malone won't change his rotations based on the other teams' players/rotations? Nope; he's said it before, he won't adjust to what other teams are doing. Malone is a man that just does not change or adapt very well.

It's up to the Nuggets' players to adapt to him and the other teams as well. Some players adjust better than others. It'll be interesting and probably frustrating to see if the Nuggets can continue to win even with Malone as their head coach.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree, this team seems to be winning more inspite of Malone as opposed to because of anything he is doing. It is hard to watch this team, and to know the depth that is on this roster and overall talent while Malone's favorites struggle and his offensive scheme is a terrible mess. I do not see anybody that looks better in his schemes this year than they looked last year, even when it is obvious guys like Murray, Beasley, and Harris have all improved all around.

The problem is that Malone seems to be well liked by the media, and was extended by the front office, and is winning just enough to keep fans coming to the games and ownership happy, so I do not see him being fired anytime soon.

Still a lot of empty seats at every game - even with local radio giving them away freely.

He forces his game way too much. When you're on the floor with Murray and Harris and Jokic you are not the first option and shouldn't be chucking contested threes. Also, he seems like he can't properly assess the situations in front of him. He will often drive to the basket and there will be a wide open guy waiting for the ball and he never seems to have the awareness to pass it which often results in a missed layup or a block.

Is still mystery why he takes quick three point shots when there is plenty of time left on the clock more than minute left on the clock last night , it was unnecessary for him to take that shot last night, the Nuggets were down by 3 points, they should have tried to post up Jokic for an easy points. Jokic was disappointment last night , he played good 4th quarter but the rest of the game was just trash on both ends of the court. To me he still doesn't look happy this season , his body language is not that good at all.

I could have swore that we had a couple of guys on the bench who play better in physical games, but I guess Faried and Juancho are never going to play, even when Chandler and Plumlee are the 2 worst players on the court.

Jokic straight up refused to be involved in the game for three quarters , such a frustrating player this season.

Remember how young he is, he'll learn he has to bring it for a full 4 qters soon. Hopefully he''ll also learn to work for HIS game as much as he does for his teammates.

But that's it for me, I'm not watching anymore Nuggets games this year !!

Happy New Year Everyone !!!
