Lots of teams could use these players. Find some matches and let’s grt back to developing the young guys.

Problem with Trading Lee is there are almost zero teams with the space to take his contract on without giving us a big contract back. It's not as easy as saying we should get a late 1st back for him. We'd have to be willing to take on a similar sized deal in return or an expiring of some sort and there aren't many expirings out there on teams that would have interest in Lee.

We could so something with the Cavs like Lee for Frye and Osman but I don't know if that's worth it and we don't know exactly how "all-in" the Cavs are with the prospect of LBJ leaving at years end. In theory we could maybe do Shump and a 2nd for Lee and hope Shump opts out but I think I'd rather just have Lee here for 3 years than dealing with Shump again for one less year...

Portland could be an option for Lee as well. They have a few expiring contracts in Davis, Vonleh, Muhammad and Napier. We could always trade Lee to Portland and maybe Lance Thomas to the Cavs for Channing Frye. That's almost 20mil in cap space opened up.

Knicks trade oquin and Sessions to OKC
OKC trades Alex Abrines to NYK

Knicks trade Kanter and Lee to Clv
Clv trades Shump Frye Osman zizic and a future pick to nyk

Knicks cut Frye and Shump.

3 young players and a future pick from Cleveland. Both teams improve their weaknesses with spare parts.

Call up trey Burke

Trade Lance for an expiring.

Trade Beasley for a pick, young player or resign him on the cheap.

I highly doubt they would give up a first rounder for Lance Thomas... LOL
And have you seen Dieng contract?

Trade Enes Kanter to the Nuggets for Wilson Chandler and Will Barton.

Resign Will Barton same contract you gave Timmy. After next season chandler expires. Barton only 1 year older then Enes.

Trade Willy Hernangomez + our 2nd rounders to the Suns for Marquise Chriss.

Resign Oquinn 2 Years at 8 million.

Maybe Willy plus a 2nd can get you Mudiay.

I’m sure at least 6 teams would give up a 1 or 2 year contract plus a first round pick for Lee. Go do that.

KP/Oquinn/Noah
Chriss/Chandler or Beasley /McDermott
Hardaway/Draft pick (Malik Bridges)/McDermott
Barton/Dotson/Baker
Frank/Burke/Jack

Chris playing poorly but is young. Has attitude problems hopefully we can fix them. Barton does everything you could ask for a player. Can play the 1-3 and guard them as well.

I find it hard to believe that the Nuggets big plan is to pair Enes with Jokic.

Rumors are circling around twitter that the Hornets may trade Kemba...

I'd offer them our first and Willy, and whatever asset we can get for Lee or KOQ

If they'd bark at that.. I'd think about Frank for Kemba. Not saying I'd do it, but I'd think about it if it was straight up.

Kanter has had tremendous success in the Western Conference. With a skilled passer like Jokic and a high octane offense like Denver ,Kanter would thrive.

Knicks lack a passer/facillitator in it's offense or youd see even more from Kanter offensively.

No way Nuggets would want Kanter. For starters, they just signed Plumlee long term to backup Jokic. Secondly, they still have Millsap under contract and Trey Lyles has had a breakout year off the bench.

Jokic is their main ball handler and facilitator of their offense and it's not from playing with his back to the basket.
Lyles has never played Center before so that doesn't matter and Milsap was having a tougfh time melting into their offense and with the shooting of Trey Lyles Denver might have a hard time sitting Lyles down for Milsap when he gets back healthy.

Right now Plumlee is starting at Center but he's pedestrian and I could easily see Kanter take over the Center position BUT I don't see Kanter playing for anyone other than the Knicks .

Chandler is overpaid always injured and been playing really bad.

Barton is expiring.

Kanter is essentially an expiring if that’s what u want to use him as also.

All depends if the Nuggets plan on bringing Barton back or not. This would get chandler off their cap. By yeah, I doubt the Nuggets want to pay for Kanter.

I thought I read that they are working on an extension for Barton. With regard to strategy, it's all well and good to think about shedding what you consider to be dead wood contracts, but you have to have a plan for what you're going to do with that space. I think our plan is better suited for 2020. And I'm not just goink to trade away Lee and Kyle just for the sake of shedding money for this off season. Besides, I think that Enes will exercise his option if it's to remain in NY but will become a free agent if he's not. That makes a big impact on what we could get back for him.

bro if they want to gift us Kemba... my god I'd be beyond hyped. Pitch PG on playing with Kemba, KP, THJ and Frank this summer and it's a wrap...

Kemba kind of loses all appeal to me unless he's paired with Frank.

I would be open trade our first (with protection) and pretty much anything else outside of KP and Frank though.

Hmm....Kemba is an extremely talented guard who has rotted in Charlotte, he’d be back in his hometown, trading away a first with protection when we’re projected to be a 30ish win team so it would be a good risk....I’m with you I’d be very open to it.
