I thought Elf got totally destroyed in the last 5 mins of the game. On defense he kept getting lost from Dragic. On offense the defense tighten up and when it does he becomes useless

From what I saw he actually played solid individual defense up until Whiteside would set that super high pick (with no threat of a roll to the basket either). Elf slams into him and cant get by in time to stay in front of Dragic. At that point, it's really not on Elf - that's what team defense is for.

The fans overreact “Well if we had player X starting the whole time we’d be better” I’ve seen this episode before.
Biz is going to jump around and look active creating this illusion that he’s conducive to winning basketball, then Once teams adjust to us we’ll look terrible.
It’s like dangling keys in front of an infant to distract them for some of you.

I think this take on Biz is completely wrong... Biz (when he's playing well) contributes to wins without stuffing the stat sheet. I think he's the most selfless player around. His defense and physical presence is real. His closeouts on switches are not token. He gets real man chest to chest blocks because he contests drives that other bigs pretend they don't see or give up on to stay out of the highlights. His presence deters drives. He doesn't load up on empty rebounds...he boxes out and lets AG or Mario rip and run. When he gets 10+ rebounds in a game, they are earned and dominant. His picks are meaningful on offense...his hands are stone, I know. In small doses, he looks lost or uncomfortable or scrambling. When the guards don't even slow down their covers (like last night) he can't always get there and you have a turnstile. (I'm so disappointed in EP's and Simmons' perimeter defense).When he starts and is in control of the defense, he's an important contributor. I think this is our present and our likeliest future, given his contract...I'm sorry if Vuc doesn't like it, but if he can't be Kanter, providing instant post offense off the bench and occasionally playing 30 mins off the bench when he's lighting up a good matchup for 25 points, then he's gotta go, imo. I can't even look at Speights anymore.

All great opinions. I really hope he's here now and in the near future. The tank is really strong with him starting so...
