Hahaha no. Lever does not mean leveling. But, I like your speculation in a 401k. Props.

Now I need to get hip so something what does it mean to lever my portfolio? Never even heard that before that's why I assumed you meant level.

This is where people can lose their pants or get rich and get crazy returns. If you know the market very well, and want to play with fire, you’ll use leverage to get big returns. Some that I work amongst do this. In the industry we call it lever, short for leverage. This can have you retiring early or working an extra 10 years.

I might think of doing that. I wish I knew about it when I started investing. I just got lucky as hell honestly. With a little advice and knowledge of the industry I'm in I struck gold.

Nice picks. I came up on NEO and its still a good buy IMO... For under the radar coins I like VIBEHUB...VR will be huge and they already have major partnerships in place as well as active products.

I think alts get a bad rap. I mean don’t sink crazy money in them but if you put a small amount your willing to risk and view them as short turn around trades you should be fine. Do research be patient. With any investment I never worry about getting in at the absolute bottom or selling at the absolute top. Swinging for home run trades every time will get you crushed

Cardano/ADA and Ripple/XRP are the two coins I'm thinking/hoping will blow up in 2018, and Segwit2x which is my Hail Mary.

Add WTC, ICON, Pivx, XRB, POWR, EOS and NEO.

You can throw darts at crypto and succeed but as Bitcoin goes higher (25-50k this year) you are going to see the shiz alts crumble. (Your picks are good imo though.)

It's all gambling. The stock market is gambling. This is no different.

I think you need to look at what crypto's are. Bitcoin came about due to a corrupt banking system. Notice its inception date of 2009 (and remember 2008), and look in the first block, Satoshi put in there the banking problems. Central Bank created in secrecy in 1913, what happened the next year?

Gambling? That would be our bond market and current financial system. A limited money that is apolitical, that is a revolution. When you can't just print money, that makes starting unjust wars quite a bit more difficult.

But I guess you can gamble with anything as Crypto is extremely volatile.

Bitcoin SAVED Wikileaks and turned them into an extremely well funded organization. This is Bitcoin

If you don't know what you're doing and just throwing darts at which equities to invest in, the stock market is gambling. However, if you have a plan of attack....if you are trading and able to read charts....and not investing...it's not gambling then.

The cryptos are not really part of the stock market yet. The cryptos are based on nothing just like the fiat currencies. Bitcoin has been moving up based only on high volatility and sentiment. They will be here to stay, however, governments are trying to gain control of cryptos and/or create their own cryptos and that's where the concerns of corruption lie. I would only short term cryptos for now IMHO. One strategy is to buy BitCoin on dips and instead of selling off on profits, buy stuff.

Many cryptos are based on block chain technologies. The Block chain isn't going anywhere and institutional money in starting to come in. Some of these crptos have real world use case application. IMO this is the future.

It sounds like investing in blockchain would make more sense then.

What are the real world applications for a currency that's unregulated and anonymous?

If you lost money with cryptocurrencies, you're probably a noob who FOMO'd in on a rally and didn't HODL. Buy low and sell high people.

Gold has been heavily naked short sold (on and off) for years. Has been a part of the strong dollar policy for decades. (Destroying the inflation / gold relationship. Check out Gata.org for the compelling evidence. In summary though, bullion banks "leased" most of our gold out. Anyway, I do think gold is going to be let go in the next year or so, same as silver (which I like more.)

Just think its undervalued at the 11th spot market cap wise. Its got its own platform. Its working with the Chinese govt, when China's market opens back up for crypto they are going to take a nice chunk. As always, DYOR and dont take financial advice from strangers on the internet.

Yep I think it's easily got ethereum potential and it's 1/9 of the price.
