McD to Booker "Hey man listen, we are going to need you to sit out after the all-star break. Your groin is likely hurting again right? Don't worry about your contract we are going to give you the max anyway, but can you do this for us? We need a top 5 pick, and I don't want to get fired."

I can see this going over very well.

But seriously, we aren't bad enough to land a top 3 pick in the draft, and I don't think even top 5 bad either.

I think he was paying Booker a compliment.

Oh I know, I wasn't being sarcastic with him, I was just in saying in general I could see some people considering this.

Can Booker get that BoingVert program already? Imagine if he added an extra 10-18 inches in his vertical? AirJordan... nah AirBook, AirBooker, AirBookem, BookAir.

To hell with that losing crap. I want to get better and better. It’s fun to win. To be more worried about a draft pick than watch your team win is sad, especially since we’ve done it with no success year after year....time to move on from tanking purposely. We are winning with the young guys, can’t ask for more.

Over the past 10 games Booker averaging 31 points 5.5 assists 4.5 rebounds

If he can sustain these types of number it would be incredible ... http://bkref.com/tiny/51MRZ

Literally, his recent play has made me become more patient with the growth of Chriss, JJ, and Bender, because Booker is headed for stardom and will be a player to get guys to come here. Again, keep winning, then a KAT or a Giannis or a Kawhi may be willing to come here and play beside him.... Booker being good and losing won’t do it.

Or a Cousins!

You want players to think, “I’m what Phoenix needs” not “Booker is good but they are so far away, I won’t help get them over the hump.”

Think about it. Booker is balling with TJ Warren as his side-kick and they are starting to look good. These other young teams that have more established young talent than us aren’t blowing the doors off anything. I think the way Booker plays alas Harden Curry esqe makes everyone better. He isn’t a ball stopper even tho he gets his shots up and takes over games. I have never thought “damn Booker, pass” yet.

Maybe it’s just me.

I actually don't believe the first part is true. He is getting very tight coverages already. As this team adds better perimeter players, the spacing will ease up a bit for him.

I'm a little drunk from last night, but I honestly think we have a potential top 40-30 player of all time on our hands. What Devin is doing as a 21 year old is absolutely insane. He is the best thing to happen to this franchise since we brought Nash back from Dallas.

I wouldn’t trade Booker for ANYONE in the NBA. Come at me bro!

The things he’s doing at such a young age is incredible. I will go further and say he will be one of the best SG’s of all time. Boy or boy are we lucky. Can’t wait to see the extension this summer.

This has been discussed in the past but if we weren't suns fans and we weren't taking popularity into consideration, who's the better player to start a franchise with? Booker or Zinger?
