I obviously don't know the details, but, IMHO, this is a lot different situation than some of the stories coming out lately.

Someone like Harvey Weinstein had lots of women come forward. And also, he's an old white guy that if he didn't have wealth and power, women wouldn't be interested in sleeping with him, so he took serious advantage of that.

Someone like AB? He's fighting off women that want to sleep with him. It just seems that if he sees a nearly passed out woman, he would just pass on it. My guess for this situation is he partied with this girl and they had a fun sleep over. In the morning, the girl realizes that AB isn't about to become her boyfriend, so she plays the assault card. AB is married, doesn't want to fight this in open court, says **** and pays the $400K and puts it behind him.

AB is also innocent until proven guilty, so I'm thinking for now, he is innocent of any crime, but guilty of poor judgement.

Last but not least, why did the woman go to him for money instead of the police for a criminal investigation?

Well put, to clarify my stance, this is exactly what I meant. I don't think AB raped or assaulted anyone but rather a victim of poor judgement. He's got to know these b* are gold digging

Every woman I have ever fired has falsely accused me of sexual harassment to try to save her job.

Every woman I have ever seen be promoted did so after sleeping with the boss.

I have never seen a woman be harassed at work and I have never worked with a woman who wasn't willing prostitute herself for a promotion.

I believe this is status quo, maybe not sleeping with the boss but sure as hell wearing skimpy sh* or highly flirtatious to get in their good graces. Guys do it too but its more so buy them drinks or sharing a common interest. While not professional its the reality of politics in the business world.

There are woman who regardless succeed despite, but i believe generally everyone metaphorically "sleeps with their boss"
