But Mitch and Jim left Magic and Rob no choice but to take a wrecking ball to this team.

Deng is an ankle weight which stripped us of the ability to sign middle of the road type guys.Bottom line is I like our chances on getting a chance to land PG only because he hasn't killed the narrative of him coming here. And no matter what guys think of DMC, he's easily better than any center on our roster. Reasons to like DMC are very simple, he's going to play hard...don't give a damn if he get's techs or not that shows me he cares when dimwits think it revolves around him being out of control.

And DMC he's capable of big nights and he would bring a toughness we don't have.

100% agree Deep, DMC will show heart and actually play hard every single night. Can’t say the same about some of the guys on this team right now.

Deep to me this started the day they made the choice of saying no of Bynum for Melo.

They have Kobe still in his prime or coming down. They have Odom in his prime and sixth man of the year. They have Pau. They have Metta. They have Fish. They have the 3 Bs. They have Phil. That was Carmelo entering his prime and before the rotator cuff and knee injury.

They said no and kept Bynum, then they proceed to pink slip Phil's whole **** staff before game 1 vs Dallas because he's retiring.

Fast forward years later and you still trade Bynum for Dwight because of his attitude and injuries. Then you try to max a years older Melo after multiple surgeries. You try to pair him with an Achilles torn Kobe, Pau you have pissed on, and he entertains you. He entertains you by his own admission to he asks well what if Pau doesn't come whats your other options and if Pau does stay who else do you use cap space on with Isaiah Thomas begging to be a Laker mind you, but the brain trust of Mitch and Jim can't answer roster or basketball questions which Lamarcus Aldridge later confirmed too

We can talk CP3 Veto. We can talk Nash, Dantoni, and Dwight. We can talk whatever but they made their bed with that one stupid ass decision and the chain that followed. If they just take the Bynum for Melo, they beat Dallas possibly, as long as they don't disrespect Phil's whole **** staff because Jim wanted to be the man. They then even if Phil retires still have his staff there for Shaw, the guy they pissed on in his interview, a team that is competitive, a star to market in Melo, and probably another ring and the respect of the league.

Funnily enough Lou Williams would fit this team so much better if they would take him for Clarkson straight up. The way this Offense stagnates and the way we lack a consistent free throw shooter.

I've seen this so much on this Laker board. first it was Randle then it was Russell Now it's Ingram. the Laker Whipping guy.

Look We have a young team. and Ingram is freakin 20 years old. it's amazing how he is a superstar when he plays the Warriors and gets 32 on Durant or a game winning shot in Philedelphia or balls in Cleveland. then against OKC he should get traded. he's lazy. he takes games off. he didn't bring it all this crap.

With Russell when he was balling. he's a punk immature kid he doesn't care. he just shoots the ball. turnover now Ingram he isn't a star.

Randle he has no basketball game to him. no game but then he goes beastmode against Houston and we shouldn't trade him. when we win a couple of games. Oh I like this core team I like our core. we have a great team. then after a game like this everybody should get traded but Lonzo and Kuzma.

The funny thing is our GM acts like people on this board. Look you can't get a sense of team bonding or winning when players on the team know that most of the players aren't going to be there. Luke can't coach the way he wants to coach and the players can't play the way they want to play.

You guys are the same guys who are going to be like Well Ingram had to be traded with Deng to get us the cap space. to chase two free agents that we really don't need.

What's the smart thing to do. Keep Ingram Keep Lonoz keep Kuzma keep Randle sign Cousins. you have two wing players and we clearly need a center.

But we probably won't do that.

The more and more I look at Lebron do we really need this. another player who is like Kobe who's going to have to have the ball he's going to have the ball and other guys are not going to know what to do.

This team needs to figure out what they want to be.!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you want to be the Warriors building a young team or do you want to be the Knicks always chasing free agents. figure it out.

What I'm looking at is Lonzo Ingram Kuzma and Randle that is something to build on.

The problem with this team is we have been spoiled with Kobe Pelinka doesn't know what it's like grinding with a team. he just sees his superstars.

So we'll have another Kobe and we'll celebrate one player and I know you all are going to chime in with the he's going to help these guys win. Lebron isn't mentoring anyone. that kind of player is always going to have the ball in his hands. and I don't see Ball movement with that player. Once Lonzo gets back this should pick up. but for the guy who talked about being a leader he needs to lead. this is the time to lead now. not when it's all going great. and you are getting your stats up. it's now with the adversity. how do these guys respond.

We can talk about fluff and all that but at some point the players have to look at the players in that locker room and say forget about all that about players coming and play for the players in that locker room. and win for your teammates. Luke needs to just have a meeting and just say all for the squad in the locker room.
