Off the Wall trade idea (Lakers)

If I'm the Lakers, I'm not taking Wall without sending out Deng. You can have Ball & Nance, but I have to unload some salary in order to offset that insane contract. There is no bringing a third star if you've got Wall and Deng on the books.

Lakers aren't getting a third star anyway. There's no room for 3 stars.

Wall (20)/PG (35)/ Cousins (35) is 90 mil. Then cap holds for roster spots and cheap guys like Hart, Zubac, Kuzma. They can make it work.

couldnt la make it work if clarkson is part of this was deal, then stretch deng? ball/jc/nance combined out going is a few mill more than wall next yr, so la should only be a few mill shy of 60mill in cap space

Interesting - that's what I was afraid of. And Mr. Ball's big mouth could have been a good catalyst for a Ball trade. He's at it again now saying Walton's lost control of the team.
