Another season we’re we’ve been bamboozled. Perry and Mills said this was a year of development and youth, but Jarret Jack played the entire overtime period over our 8th pick Frank Ntilikina.

Did Jack earn his minutes?

That’s all the matters in the scheme of this rebuild.

Well it already came out that some want to sign Burke right now, obviously it's not Perry or it would've been done. Add Jeff complaining after every game that our PGs can't do **** and you can see who's really holding us back.

Sounds to me like Jeff is saying neither Jack nor Frank are his kind of guards. Good luck with that message Jeff.

They're not any team's kind of starting guards because they're not good playmakers. Frank will be but not this year.

kp is getting doubled and has a 3rd guy shading him sometimes. and during all the clutch possessions they couldn't or didn't even bother to get him the ball. how can you blame him for a close loss then ?

I like KP, but he is the best player on the team and usually is on the court when the team collapses, thus that blame should be directed his way.

KP is really the only player on the team now that isn't playing to his capability.

He got the praise when he played above his norm, now he's should get that work.

I don't think he is primary reason for the team losing. That's Jeff all day.

But I agree, Lee is AWFUL at the end of games. I don't know how the ball ends up in his hands. He can't create AT ALL. It's so painful to watch. He should not be dribbling in those situations. Just move the ball bro.

He keeps pump faking from 3 looking for the refs to save him. He did it twice trying to draw a foul.

His is a journey man, and has been all his career. he will always be that. time to trade him at deadline.

Teams have adjusted. He hasn't. Blame PG or whatever but #1 options don't have this many let down games in a row like he has.

Being an Alpha is much easier said than done. He's not a LeBron type dude, but since he's the leader he gets the blame(according to this board).

it's just routine for some coaches to trust vets over young players. frank was having a bad offensive game so jack got the call again. it's no vast conspiracy.

During the comeback it was Frank out there and the team was playing really well. Frank had not broken through scoring but he was aggressive. Jack was not bad but he has a ceiling for sure. Good 3rd stringer.

I knew -- KNEW -- that Horny would go back to Jack when the first positive thing happened for the Heat after our pretty dominant defensive stretch.

And then he left both Frank and Jack in for a bit, then pulled Frank. lol.

Just know -- he's not gonna choose defense. His offense has some moments but isn't anything to write home about either. He's bad.

It's amazing how high profile NBA personnel are willing to risk their careers making mind numbing decisions when they come to NY. The only one to make it out to the other side is Mike D'Antoni. Larry Brown, Isiah Thomas, Mike Woodson, Dereck Fisher, Phil Jackso... where are they now?

Re inserting Jack and playing him down the stretch was one of Jeff's more idiotic coaching decisions during his tenure here, and that's saying something.

Maybe. But Jeff is an awful coach not to be able to put use to them when you have KP, Kanter, O'Quinn, Lee and Beasley putting in work on the floor. He's killing me.

Because he keeps the money if fired. If he leaves on his own, he gives it back. Maybe he has other life plans we don't know about... I can't explain his decision making. Beas on minutes restrictions though he's been fantastic is just mind boggling.

In reality....do you think he'll ever have the conditioning needed to be the man? I mean, I know Giannis was skinny as hell, granted, a bit smaller....but he had no problem moving around a lot more without getting so tired and looking so beat. Granted, different animals....but do you think he'll get his body to where it actually needs to be?
