I'm so jealous

Yes I'm on coinbase. Btc isn't my wave. I'm trying to buy volume early on with legitimate companies.

I'm itching to jump in on Ripple. Price now at $3.81. I hear you have to jump through a few hoops to get it. Hard to buy with USD from what i hear. Coinbase does not offer it. Need to purchase ether first from coinbase then move into another exchange like bitsane in order to buy it right?

Coinbase, litecoin, shapeshift.io, Rippex wallet.

More involved driving. No hard but you will burn out your clutch a few times until you get the hang of it. Neutral is your friend in traffic. You need to learn your when to change gears by the sound & feel of your engine.

I suggest you practice in a parking lot of taking off, learning the friction point. Until it gets second nature to you.
(Try 50 times taking off from a standstill (without stalling) - that is the hardest part. Changing gears while moving is easy.

oh man once you go automatic you never go back to stick imho. autostick maybe..

just go with 2 dr civic Sgt P it's super nice.

Surprised I missed this. I learned to drive with a manual transmission. It's my preference too. It's easy, especially with these newer cars that are very forgiving of mistakes. Neutral isn't your friend in traffic. You shouldn't be in neutral unless you're at a stop. Repetition is key.

You should be able to make the car roll without touching the gas and without stalling by finding the clutch engagement point and holding it there. That's the point you're looking for when preparing to go from a stop. Feather the clutch while applying a little bit of gas and you'll be able to take off smoothly.

There's a lot of noise about coinbase picking up ripple though...but people are benefitting from every drop of news that promotes hype, lol

You still think Ripple is a good buy at it's current price? Seems like a few government big wigs are in control of Ripple. Peter Thiel of goodboy's favorite paypal just jumped on board with bitcoin.

Imo Ripple seems like it's here to stay with the Banks and governement getting there hands dirty with this. Question is how much does the price of the coin continue to rise? Are we looking along the lines at $20-$30 bucks soon? Have you seen the documentary banking on bitcoin on Netflix? Good watch

Nobody can really know, it's a redundant saying but it's best to do research on it yourself before buying/selling. Hate to fail somebody with faux financial advice cause you can't know

Off to the car dealership to get me a manual then.

It's either a red herring or it's a long term investment. Short term window closed for us normal folk. Volume is the name of this game.

I'm treating it as a long term investment and buying a bunch and holding it. It's money I can afford to lose and I already withdraw my initial investment. Kind of a circus to get ripples now. It's the reason behind the drop after reaching $3.85.

Peep airdrop alert. They give free tokens and such. For instance they gave a bunch of people 2500 PRL early on a couple of months ago.

PRL is now $2.42 USD. Meaning 2500PRL x $2.42 = $6,050 and climbing for a bunch of people for just about no reason at all lol.

I want to invest in ripple but it seems like you have to join chit exchanges to get it that have terrible reviews. Seems very hard to buy with USD. I'm assuming you buy xrp with other forms of crypto from coinbase? Then store the xrp in coinbase? The price on Ripple went down yesterday based off the news that coinbase had no plans to add it to the exchange.

Can't store on CB, you can store on an exchange like Binance but the safer route would likely be getting wallet like blockchain that can hold XRP

Ah. I'm trying to remember what the usual problems with those were. I think it was 3rd gear synchros. K-series transmissions didn't have the best reliability once you started throwing on mods iirc. But that's a great starter car. Maybe find a used one online from a private seller on another forum? They tend to be better maintained than one you'd find at a dealership. Maybe.

I like any car with potential, I'm just not a fan of FWD torque steer. Just get a motorcycle. Manual transmission AND it'll give you a speed fix.

Right. I use Rippex wallet.

Additionally, binance has shut down new registration.

Yeah you can't use binance if you aren't already on it for the time being.

Forgot about the no coinbase plans news. It's a coin to hold on to and invest in early on. It's not going to hit anything crazy with that market cap/circulating supply (it will dwindle over time) but if you have a high amount of coins early on, it doesn't really matter. The real name of the game is the pump and dump bubble that's going on. Buy a crapton of really cheap coin, hope it climbs a few cents or dollars, sell, profit. I'm not doing that yet, lol. Just remember to use money you can afford to lose, I can't stress that enough. Withdraw your initial investment and use the rest to hold or diversify.

Excellent advice KD. Greatly appreciate it. I'm looking into Bitstamp and Kraken right now. Bitstamp is a slovenian company that seems to offer everything that I'm looking for. Only downfall right now is I have come across some very questionable reviews. But you can even find some terrible reviews about coinbase. Would be nice to hear from some of our Slovenian friends about Bitstamp.
