I'm going to say that I AGREE, right now 80s, but I trust my first impression of Morsell. Remember, he's been injured. Before he missed games he was the guy who shut down Butler's best player.

Maybe both Huerter and Morsell end up in the NBA...

His defense is NBA-quality. He has a long ways to go on offense. He has a terrible form and he's not even hitting the rim on his threes. I don't care what he does against the cupcakes on the schedule minus Butler, Huerter has incredible range on his jumper and is legit 6-7. His defense and strength is the big issue but I think he's getting better. You don't have to worry about either guy leaving early.

Not so sure about that when it comes to Huerter.

I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves after his junior season.

I like this one shot more cell did in the game against Michigan State. DM did that step-back fadeaway. NBA kind of move to score from about 10 feet with a defender all over him. It looked just like a Kobe Bryant shot (or a Michael Jordan shot before Kobe).

Right now I like both players as potential NBA prospects

I hope all of these guys come back next year. With the incoming recruiting class combined with our current team would be very good and probably less selfish than the last "super" team Maryland had a couple of years ago.

Nice rebound game on Sunday for the Terps - especially for big Bruno and Morcell. Surprising that they won so convincingly despite getting badly out-shot from the 3 point line. Terps went to the hoop and drew a lot of foul shots.

Maryland at Ohio State will be on at the same time Utah visits the Wizards.

This is a big game for the Terrapins.

Sounds like the Terps are fine on the O line for next season. Good luck to Merritt going the JuCo route - I suppose it's possible he could return to MD if he gets his grades up.

Yeah, Ohio State somehow crushed Michigan State last weekend - after Michigan State destroyed MD. They have a senior forward named Diop who's putting on a show this season after being a pretty average player for 3 seasons.

I remember one kid named Diop who came into the NBA about the same time as Kwame Brown. He was a good defensive player but very raw on offense. His skills then would be great for the Wizards now. Also between him and Kwame there was another kid named ousmane cisse who I thought was better than both but he had injury issues. I digress..

My ex-wife had a business and d i o p was part of the name. More digress...

There are a lot of Diops out there. They must be like Smith or Jones in another country. That's my point about the kid at Ohio State.

I do not know the backstory.

I know Dwayne Haskins is playing at Ohio State. I know Stefon Diggs' little brother Trayvon Diggs just got a championship ring for being part of Alabama's team. (That is not necessarily any kind of bad mark on Maryland. Remember the other night in the national championship football game. There were Ridley's on both Georgia and Alabama. Both of them great receivers apparently).

DJ Durkin seems like a really nice guy and I believe he is a much better coach than Randy Edsall.

However, if he is going to lose prized recruits and have a bad record for a long time I just have one name, Kevin Sumlin. I don't know if Sumlin is a better Coach than DJ. I just know he has had some success coaching Johnny Manziel and coaching in the SEC. Dude beat Alabama! DJ Durkin can't say that.

I do know that the coach of Penn State, James Franklin, sure has had a lot of success with his team. I believe Maryland interviewed Franklin before he selected Penn State. Who you hire makes a big difference in the success of the program.

I am concerned about Durkin his record and his ability to keep recruits

Merritt has weight issues and hasn't been able to get on the field.

Maryland's O-line recruiting has been very good so it's not a big loss.
