Our first move of action is to release someone who plays maybe four minutes a game.

Good job Magic and Rob!

Consider this your last unofficial warning for derailing threads. We get that you don't like Luke, but it's becoming an agenda with you. Posting it in random threads to get attention isn't going to be tolerated from here on out.

Yes yes, fire the coach who is coaching the second youngest team IN THE LEAGUE. Don't also forget Luke signed bums like KCP while trading for Lopez!

Stop blaming the coach. It's not the coach, it's the talent. AKA- Players. Luke might have questionable rotations, but there's not a whole lot to work with.

Figures... Didn't think he'd last this long honestly... I liked him but it felt like the plan all along.

I wonder what the trade market was like for Bogut. Would love to know the behind the scene stuff.

I think the market was zero... I think everyone knew he'd be released eventually and they could pick him up on the open market... He was insurance in case a trade for Randle (and maybe lopez/zubac) happened and we didn't get a big in return... But they didn't want his contract to become guaranteed on the 10th, and we suck so bad, it doesn't matter, so now was as good a time as any.

The Bogut signing was the most puzzling thing we've done in a while.... and that's saying something. Why get a guy who really only has value to a team who is in a championship run? It isn't like he's a future piece for when we got those two max players at his age and condition. What it did was box in Zubac and Bryant on a team that our leadership stated was in a "development year". No sense whatsoever. Now he's on his way to where he can help someone with spot minutes. He wasn't helping this team. That's for sure.

Hopefully they're in a market for a pg. Lakers was terrible without Zo out there.

This screams Bryce Alford, since he's a local kid...

Shooting .388% from 3 on 7.6 attempts in the G-League.

Other potential guys, we'll probably look for a guard-SF, since we have a glut of bigs already. I'll leave stretch 4's like Travis Wear (.473% on 6.2 attempts from 3) out from the list for now.

Marcus Thornton, not the one who's been in the league before, other Marcus Thornton

.401% on 7.6 attempts from 3.

Rodney Purvis is a 20 ppg guy in the G-League, undrafted this year, 23 yr old.

.372% on 7.2 attempts from 3.

Anthony Brown is actually shooting .411% from 3 on 6.5 attempts, but we've been on that route before, didn't work out.

Trey Burke was a former lottery pick, is scoring 27 ppg and shooting .414% on 6.5 attempts from 3.

Xavier Munford is shooting .476% from 3, also scoring 24 a game. We actually had him on two Summer League rosters in 2015 and 2016, while also being a camp fodder in the 2016 preseason. He'd be a strong bet I think, although he is undersized.

I totally agree. I don't know what we were doing there.

Kind of suprised we didn’t get rid of Vander in this situation. Honestly, I hope the front office knows what they are doing because getting one consistent shooter isn’t magically going to help this squad overcome it’s problems. 1st unit and 2nd unit both have shooting problems, so I think we should also open up another spot and sign somebody.

Once teams scout this “shooter” we’re going to revert back to being a **** shooting team.

If we can find a "shooter" who is on the market for next to nothing who changes this teams trajectory, what does that say about the team?
