Oladipo really walks out the of building like he's a rock star or something. Love it.

Meh, that has always happened. Lance stole Hibbert's rebounds back in the day, too. As long as the team is cool with it then I have no issue with it.

Hibbert used to complain about that, but Lance is "Jumping" for the rebound, the other guys need to put in some freaking effort.

Those other guys are putting in a lot of effort. If they didn't then Lance probably wouldn't come up with the rebound since they are the ones that block out opposing bigs. Lance is an excellent rebounder for his position but let's not get carried away. Rebounding opportunities are created primarily by bigs who block out their opponents. Whether they grab the rebound themselves or a teammate comes and gets it is irrelevant. All that matters is that we end up with the ball.

You guys are a whole different team with and without Oladipo. Glad to see he's back out there and producing.

(My fantasy team also feels it.. having Thad and Myles the past week.. ouch.)

I still see guys standing around flat footed and lance is the only one who jumps to get the boards. If he was 6'10'' he'd be getting 15 a game.

Then we probably aren't watching the same games, my friend. I rarely see guys just simply "standing around flat footed". I see them blocking out opponents unless every opponent has already run back to defend.

Yeah, Dipo makes a world of difference. It really frees up space for Myles. Thad is just in a slump.

Well it's not as bad with this group as it was with the Hibbert team, but I don't see anyone making the effort to get rebounds that lance makes. If I had my way this team would start Lance at point and bring Collison off the bench. Lance is the best passer on the team and he could get 6-7 rebounds a game if he plays enough minutes.

I think if they just showed Lance the confidence in him to play point the team would be rewarded greatly. And what does this 2017-18 team have to lose it's not like they're gonna go to the finals.

But those Hibbert teams were great at rebounding the ball.

Rebounding was never an issue for the Hibbert/West/Vogel teams. It was consistently one of our strengths.

Being the best passer doesn't necessarily make someone a PG but I'd be fine with Lance starting there. He'd give us a size advantage, at least.

I’m totally fine with Lance and the energy he shows in getting the rebounds. Should bring the other’s energy up as well.

Likewise. It's good to know that your teammate behind your back is covering just in case.

Same here. As I said earlier, as long as the team is fine with it then so am I.

The point I'm trying to make is that Lance is able to get those rebounds because his teammates block out for him. If they didn't block out for him or if they waved him off and grabbed the rebounds themselves (like it happened when Lance wasn't playing in Indiana) then he just wouldn't grab as many rebounds.

Rebounding was, is and will always be a team exercise :D

So, I hope Pacers are out of playing ball in the quick sand? But still, 4 games without the Dipo had to be more contested.
This month is going to be interesting, at the end we will know better where the team stands.
