This game could see the front office make more moves, and it could be more costly than what happened Saturday by waiving Bogut. Facing the Hawks a team the Lakers are only 1 game better than for worst record in the NBA. A loss would tie both teams for worst record and an emotional low for the franchise who thought it would be better than scratching the bottom.
All of this coming on the heels of LaVar Ball opening his mouth and say the team doesn't want to play for Luke and he has lost the team. Only problem with that is that the Lakers aren't going to fire Luke now or in the next year. LaVar needs to shut it up especially after the Lakers told him 2 months ago to chill, they're not going to keep taking this.
And regardless of what media heads say about the team would keep Zo first than fire Luke, that's debatable only because if you're trying to build a championship culture a talking parent is the last ingredient you need in the mix and it's NEVER been an element surrounding a team in contending status.
LaVar will most likely run his mouth too much and get Zo shipped off to some irrelevant eastern team...that's how you shut him the hell up and get him out your business. Teams don't have time to keep baby sitting a damn parent and telling him to chill the hell out.
