Some. But this is an outlier night. Neither of those guys is that good a shooter, even open. And not all of those looks are open.

Dragan Bender shoots 37% from 3 on nearly 4 attempts a game, that’s pretty good.

He's 6 of 8, Booker is 5 of 10, Jackson is 3 of 6. Suns as a team are shooting the lights out and the Thunder aren't hitting even open ones.

Defense plays a part, yeah. But 3pt% is far more subject to variance than average Joe realizes.

If the suns, mavs and kings beat the warriors I might believe this.

The crappy Lakers beat them last year. Variance happens.

Booker and Bender are both shooters so them hitting 3s isn’t much of a surprise. Jackson though yeah is an outlier.

Hitting 3s, yes. Shooting 50% from outside on high volume? If they were doing that your team would actually be GOOD.

Eh yeah they won’t hit 3s on 50% every game but their good shooters so if they get decent looks they’ll hit them.

Kinda like if Ryan Anderson or CJ McCollum hit a lot of 3s on high volume on 50% shooting, it wouldn’t be surprising because their shooters.

Back to your point, Bender is a better shooter than you give him credit for.

If this was the first time we had lost to a bad team then, sure that makes sense. We’ve been whipped by the jazz, kings, Orlando, Dallas x 2,Brooklyn, Charlotte, NY Knicks team missing Hardaway and Porzingis and now Phoenix. We lose to bad teams. Beating them is an outlier.

We're a 4-seed 50-win team. The sooner people realize this the sooner we'll get less Chicken Little.

Are you referring to srs rankings because we aren’t the four seed?

I called the Thunder a 4-seed before the season, and I'm sticking to that assessment.

14, as it turns out.
