OK **** this garbage from some JV fans here, wtf. Lowry did not get hurt because JV wasn't out there to rebound. One, it was one the offensive end and JV would not have even got down the floor before the rebound, two he sucked on defense and that's why he should never have played minutes in the 4th in the first place. Man... that is beyond wrong.

dude JV nut huggers were hoping we drop this game so they can say we lost because " the idiot casey didn't play JV" they just have to make JV the talking point even when he's struggling. Some of these guys just watch raptor games just to see how JV plays so I'm not shocked.

If he broke any part of his pelvis that would be a BIG problem, and Lowry at his age will never go back to playing the way he did before. What I'm hoping is that it's somehow muscle related and that his deep glute muscles was causing impingement on his nerves.

Acy is the only reason this game went into OT. Two lucky ass 3s.

His supposed ability to shoot 3s is the only reason he's on the floor. It's not his defense, rebounding, bball IQ, intangibles, or any other aspect of his game. He made numerous mistakes, including 4 boneheaded turnovers, and the massive play at the end where he decided to flex on the rebound instead of passing it to the PG. Raps won the jumpball and the game there.

OG just doesnt have the handles yet. Even though FVV was useless, you at least trust him with the ball when it comes to playmaking so it doesnt just come back to both Lowry and Derozan

og doesnt turn the ball over very often though. if you run 3 guards delon is your best bet....but like i said

I mentioned it a couple times in the game thread but we straight up looked like we were **** around and playing with our food. Just finish the **** job. Casey didn't make it any better by not putting OG back in the game.

Casey's decisions in the second half we're costly, giving FVV so much burn against a backcourt with a lot of size was idiotic. He was giving up 5-7 inches to whoever he had to cover, and got killed.The bench unit struggled to score in the second half, there were moments where we should've put them away and get ready for Miami back home. Dwane's brain cramps in crunch time almost cost us one.

The other day he had a very eloquent take down of the refs where he was able to speak his mind and avoid getting fined.

Basically he feels like him and the Nets get no respect and that was evident this game. Guy got thrown to the ground by Ibaka twice driving to the rim in overtime but the refs give Demar Derozan the game winning FT on a ticky tack call.

Siakam got a clean steal about 10 seconds earlier, and the refs gifted Dinwiddie a call.

Nothing changes the fact that:
Refs gave Derozan the game winning FT after he was fouled

But failed to give Dinwiddie the same respect.

Derozan raked his arm through a reaching defender, as seen here. Clear foul on Harris.

If only Delon would have called time out when he forced that turnover near the end of the 4th, we could have avoided all this...hope Lowry is ok.

Looks like he was falling out of bounds and didn't have a chance to call a time out so just through it back into the court.

There's a rule where players can't call timeout when they're falling out of bounds. They introduced it in 2000 after Larry Johnson in the finals against the Spurs grabbed the rebound as he was literally in mid air going out of bounds, and called a timeout, which they granted him.

Let you know how this works. When your team sucks, we know as we've been there, you need to play at your best, and not have the refs make any mistakes, to win. If the refs miss two or three calls more against your team, than against the opponent, you're done. In the past we've had multiple league apologies in the same year. What happens is the fan base, and players, focus too much on the refs. The refs suck, I know; I still believe some are crooked. After a while your team starts to get better and once in a while you win games 5 vs 8. The Raptors are now at the point where they can win 5 vs 8 on a regular basis. Once this happens the fans, as well as the players, learn to let the ref miscues, bias, corruption, whatever it is, go.

Ibaka is the reason we won this game. His steal from Acy at the end of the game that resulted in the Jumpball is what gave Derozan a chance to Ice it.

And wether or not it was a foul....His block on Dinwiddie a couple of possesions back and then his defense on the very last play was a major Key

dude Ibaka got both hands on both of dimwiddies hands and got no ball. it was a brutal non-call that we were very lucky to get. if it happened to us we'd be losing our sh*t. but hey i'll take it.

Ass could still mean it’s a lower back problem and likely effecting his siatic. I haven’t seen the walking off part yet, but that would definitely cause your legs to buckle when trying to walk right after.

Your sciatic nerve runs through your hip, and sometimes through your butt, so a major compression like Lowry had can pinch the nerve. It's painful and your leg goes numb.

Yep. I agree. He'll have a bruise, but a bruise doesn't make a guys knees suddenly buckle and fall to the floor.

Something is dislocated or pinched.

I see this injury every day. He landed on and sprained his sacroiliac joint. Painful as hell and he can't walk because the joint closes and will pinch when standing (leg extended) leading to even more pain. Same thing as spraining an ankle, but in the pelvis.

I don't really think Dinwiddie was in control at all on that drive to end the game and lost his balance, but were there any other calls that stood out so much to warrant anger? Or is it just standard shambles post-losing-to-Raptors?

I think they're complaining about the Ibaka block in OT and some other non calls
