What purpose does Acy serve in the final minutes? He gives crappy defense, gives up height to Ibaka for rebounds, doesn't park his ass in the paint and shoots the 3 ball like a hot potato....

Why Allen couldn't be there? please fill me in..

So the two threes Acy tok (to cut it to 7 then 4) late in the 4th along with the three rebounds 2 steals and a charge he took in the 4th.... none of that helped?

this was a GREAT game. one of our best for the year. team effort up and down the lineup and guys fought for 48 minutes. Acy is big for these young guys, he spaces the floor to give them room to work with. just look at the dinwiddie dunk in the 4th where acy is double teamed at the 3 point line.

If that's the level we're going to, it would make much more sense to injure the refs who are the ones actually doing wrong. The players are just playing.

Man I don't care. You can keep your neutral position, our **** ing team got jobbed.

and miss me with that strawman Nyce. No one injured Lowry on purpose. I just personally don't give a **** that he got hurt.
This has nothing to do with a need to be neutral.

Having experienced and witness injuries on the court, I never take solace or feel justified someone gets injured. They always suck.

You do you though.

I do not like when players pull, tug, and are unnecessarily chippy to gain an unfair advantage. It's wrong and it forces the refs to get overly involved or remain blind to the nonsense.

Do I like what's been happening? Of course not.

But unless Lowry is doing Bruce Bowen flying kicks to Net players, I always feel bad about injuries.

considering the fact that we have lost multiple players to injury this season, I have zero sympathy.

Joe Harris did nothing wrong on that play to cause Kyle Lowry's injury. that was incidental contact. yet I watched all game Serge Ibaka throwing his forearm into our players faces and chest, guys getting hammered and no call...and you expect me to give a ****?

seriously?

Nah. Good poster. If it is another player, whatever player, Lin, Russell, LaVert, you have to say it wasn't a great moment for him. I didn't really like that attempt, it reminded me of the half-time last shot attempt. Dinwiddie played clutch as hell, but some of the last shots could use improvement. He can get better shots. He's better than those last shots.

No, he's a **** ing Lin fan who has trolled this board numerous time with impunity. stop sticking up for trash.

you're sitting here criticizing a guy going hard to the rim in the clutch instead of settling. seriously?

Dude if that was Jeremy Lin getting that kind of treatment you'd be livid. instead you're making weird critiques on a guy making the correct basketball play :nonono:

I had plenty criticism toward Lin in every forums... something you don't understand anyway...
I don't care i am going to be banned or not... I just had enough with you or the dude "ProK"...

Guys, this was a tough one. Tempers are flaring. Let's try not to attack each other left and right though. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, or how to act or anything, don't take it like that, but in the end we're all die hard fans of this team and everyone is getting caught up in the heat of the moment because we were robbed again, don't let it get to the point where we hate each other as posters and fans though, there is still someone behind the screen, someone who comes together for a common interest, a passion, a love for the sport and more importantly this team. That isn't to say we can't have different opinions or even vehemently disagree, or we all have to sing Kumbaya together lol, but I'm sayin'...

Also, I wasn't saying I hoped anyone got hurt, such as Lowry, but just as MrDB expressed, that I also don't feel especially bad after how this game went. And it's no secret the Nets and the Raptors are pretty much mortal enemies and a majority of our fanbases dislike each other.

That's all I have to say, about that.

CalamityX12 wrote:Second, Sorry guys.... I can see a lot of hate coming but I don't think nor did I really see a foul there in Dinwiddie's pathetic hero attempt.

Not bashing him or any that felt it, but IMO, not that big of contacts that warranted it. I think Dinwiddie was going crazy there and didn't get bothered or hip checked. Try to convince me he was altered or affected by the minimal contact that he created.

He was going hard and fast, like a pinball...

I'm more mad at the Ibaka foul no call than the last drive. I think Dinwiddie is overreacting there. He played hero and looked stupid again. IMO.

Had the situation been reversed, wouldn't we all be pissed as **** if we were called for a foul there?

So you're saying that there was no contact on that play? because that would be quite dishonest, especially considering what got called on the defensive end when DeRozan got a foul call in his favor?

there was contact as unavoidable physical contact when opposing bodies are trying to cancel each other out but nothing I saw live nor the replays that pushed or seemed excessive to alter Dinwiddie's low IQ attempt.

Dinwiddie charged in hard and fast, ok, maybe didn't have a good sense of where he was or what he wanted, maybe his sole purpose was to draw a foul and nothing more but he didn't get enough.

Trust, I'm all for one to get on the refs and **** call them out til I drop, I hold grudges, hate NBA officials with a passion for the last 17 years or so(I've watched nba longer but really started seeing their corrupt ways then) but I'm looking for something to jump like mad but I don't see it or enough.

There's no hand check, no push, nothing that move Dindwiddie out of his pace or path. Show me, I'll be happy to defer.

I'm more mad/convinced on the Ibaka foul no call than this one.(again, I would put ourselves in the switch position, if we were the defense there, I'll cry murder had they called foul)

and Specner is Spencer, he ain't no LBJ or big name. PLus he called out the refs so, are we really surprised?

You know what I want to see him do. Take that high arching short fade he made in the previous game twice. That's his shot. I think I'm making sense. I blamed the refs, I gave Din his props. But I think if he makes that adjustment, he has a better chance to make the shot.

You'd rather him settle instead of driving to the rim? he got fouled TWICE on both drives. Dinwiddie should be commended for not letting the officiating dictate his movement, not criticized. what the **** am i even reading right now

I'm not killin Dinwiddie for that shot. Just giving an opinion that he wasn't going to get the call, so go for what I think is a better shot for him. It's not settling, he hits that short high-arching jumper somewhat better than he finishes at the rim, IMO.

Man, I'm not killing Dinwiddie. I thought he was fantastic. Played right up there with DeRozan. More efficient, actually. The rage you have is understandable, but not at me or other guys. It's the refs. I think the biggest problem is what you said. One end gets the call, and our end doesn't. That's the big problem here. We just disagree on what's a good end of game shot for Dinwiddie. Not that he should have been on the line.

Taking the top teams in the east to the wire is impressive. While the losses may sting, we can only hope maturation and growth encompasses these close games.

no need to explain to hot head, it does not have the basic comprehension... only knows barking...
again, I did nothing wrong to its mom

by the way, I had no problem with Din taking all those shots, this is a make or miss league, I like how confident he is...
my post only echo the observation about refereeing

Honestly, I like his passion. I like MDB. I like you too. But yeah, he's hot right now.

I wish Lowry well. I hate his flopping nonsense but he’s a good dude and he didn’t do anything harmful to get hurt.

Sometimes we do need to stop being the bigger man to some of these other teams or canvases cause they don’t respect when we lose guys to unfortunate injuries either.

Having said that...get well Lowry. I want to see DLo go off on ya next.
