Post#1 » by LKIRNets » Sun Jan 7, 2018 2:55 am

You know it's hard enough beating good teams. But how do you beat an invisible opponent wit an ego and is your superior on your field of play?

bruh this is 3 straight games vs these Celtics that we don't get one damn whistle. In Boston it was the same story. Tonight that 4th quarter, that whole second half WTF was that?

I'M PROUD OF THIS BROOKLYN NETS TEAM. But their impossible task is getting 30 wins vs an invisible opponent.

I don't think referees particularly disrespect the Nets... they just give too much damn respect toward the Celtics, the whole season long...

Someone should really do a study on missed calls and ref bias towards certain players and teams. The 2 minute report is going to be atrocious and every ref who was working this game should lose their job.

Let's start wit the Tatum foul

Image
apparently you can handcheck the actual elbow and waist w/o playing the ball (foul)

Image
Then Tatum also pushes Joey on the hip, elbow on his back, pushed him off balance, check the reach in by Sime.. (foul) :nonono:

Image
The immortal Shane Larkin gets this call, a clean block by Demarre (no foul)

Image
This Marcus Smart foul was BULLS#%^# he gets blocked, resets, trips and throws it up, he gets the late $%^$%$#@#%$# call (no foul)

Here we go. What Dinwiddie has to go through.
Image
Foul #1 clearly gets fouled on the shoulder and arm by Jaylen Brown. No AND1 (foul)

Image
Foul #2 Dinwiddie clearly ridden on his shoulder by Sime.. and Kyrie's karate chop reach in, NOTHING CALLED! (foul)

Image
FOUL #3 VERTICALITY MY @#$ NOTHING CALLED! first Dinwiddie is hip checked IN THE AIR, while this happens Jayson Tatum is pulling on Joey's jersey and arm, then Joey Buckets is fouled by Kyrie and Jaylen (foul)

This is about RESPECT!

And remember the only game winner this season for him, Dinwiddie had to score wit out GETTING A CALL, if he doesn't make that basket HE'S STILL STANDING THERE WAITING FOR THE AND1!

Oh and that final play. Man these bleepin zebras are some piece of work.

Image
So Hollis-Jefferson gets fouled before the inbound by Sime.., just continuously shoved as he catches the ball. Then he misses, Kyrie shoves Joey's back again whistle swallowed, Rondae gets the rebound someone hits the back of his head. no call (foul)

This is what we have to play through. :banghead:

Yeah, last night was the worst game yet. The ref is sitting there watching multiple fouls and calling nothing.

I hate to bring up the spread, but when you see a Boston as -2 and watch the last 6-7 mins of that game you have to question what really is going on with the refs. if the Nets get those foul calls they win by 6 pts or better. instead...Boston miraculously wins by 2 points.

The Nets should really do an internal review of this sort of **** and sue the league if they find bias.

Like I said last night, we’ll get calls after this last nets pick. Just watch. It feels like the league still wants to keep this pick narrative going.

We’ve legitimately put ourselves in positions to beat good teams and exceed expectations. I just don’t want these kind of losses to pile on negative energy around the team because I know they feel robbed after games like that. Especially when we’re already short handed.

Yea I got **** on earlier this year for suggesting the league is trying to keep our pick as valuable as possible to Cleveland, but it does look like thats the case.

it was obvious to cover the spread. There's no other explanation.

Everything is a correct non call in the final moments? The only thing they had a problem with was Dinwiddie not getting called for a foul against Smart? **** that

Dinwiddie is HOT right now. Roasting the refs. Tons of sarcasm. I don't blame him in the least, but can't see anything good coming out of this. Regardless, tonight was a gutty performance. It will be interesting to see how they respond to this and it will be even more interesting to see how the league responds to the refs once again jobbing us.

Widdie is straight keeping it real right now. One of the most honest and blunt interviews I've heard in a long time in professional sports without coming across as a selfcentered douche.

Dinwiddie has gone from a guy I wanted to get traded to my favorite player on this team in like 4 games.

Hopefully I can find the interview online after the game.

I'm wondering how there were fouls called on the Lowry injury and the DeRozan drive yet Dinwiddie drove to the rim and got hammered. no call.

Dinwiddie is telling the truth and the Nets front office needs to assert their authority as a team in this league and start filing complaints.

This has been going on since the Indiana game, but the Nets are getting reamed by the officials. Dinwiddie's commentary says it all, the Nets will have to outplay not only the opponents, but the officials as well.

We really are becoming the Spurs East!

I don't usually believe in moral victories, but this last week has been something. Hopefully the actual players and staff keep at it and keep channeling that energy and eventually start playing so above their heads they can overcome these **** refs.
