Jesus Christ...I'm simply showing someone who said RIP Star Wars facts that no...it's not dead. You mentioned how Jumanji won this weekend for some reason, so i was pointing out that the movie that beat SW this weekend still made 700m dollars less worldwide. Facts. And there you go saying SW movies are going to make 1b on name alone...so if that's true, how can it be RIP??

How on earth can a movie that will be a top 5 grosser of all time be a bomb? Again...if you didn't like the movie, more power to you. I could care less. That's your opinion. But to say it's a bomb is just factually incorrect and it sounds like you want it to be considered a bomb because you didn't like it.

Disney recovering losses...LOL. They've already recouped their ENTIRE investment into Lucasfilm in large part because of this movie. Stop with your nonsense. Facts are hard to deny.

Don't bother. I've been down this road.

I do too, but you can't use facts around here to help inform an opinion.

What Hamill said seems like backtracking but that’s just my opinion.

I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. All throughout his interviews he said he was taken aback by the portrayal of Luke but also said he loved the movie, loved working with RJ, etc. Sure, could he be lying, yes anything is possible, but Hammil has always been known to say whatever he wants and doesn't seem like a guy who would tell a bald face lie. I doubt Disney execs put a gun to his head. This whole thing is so stupid. I honestly think this thread sucks and people can agree to disagree. Here is hoping the Episode IX thread isn't as terrible as this one.

They don't have to put a gun to his head to get him to backtrack. All they have to do is remind him how much money he is making from the movie.

Or...or...maybe he's actually sincere! What a concept! Not everything has to be a conspiracy theory.

I'm done with this thread. Have a good time here. See you in the Knicks threads.

You full of it. Im not in this thread complaining that people like the Film. So I am far from a pot. Fury can even state that I told him numerous times that I respect the fact that he likes the film and is not trying to convince him to not like it or that it was not good to him. Like i said he fell back from go and back and forth with posters, you didnt. So you can STHU with trying to reverse it around on me...Fact of the matter is that you are a huge cry baby against anyone who says they dont like the film. You was called a Disney Bitch, and you sure are acting like one. Who are you to always be swooping in trying to tell posters their views of the film being subpar to them is wrong...again...your ass TOLD ME WHAT WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT for ME.... how can you tell anyone some schit like that. I never knew I told you I was disappointed by Midicholrians...when did that happen??? Like I said...Thats is all the proof that is needed to show how far you have your head up your ass on the subject. Get out the bushes and stop swooping in like some corporate employee when a poster has issues with the film. Start your own Blog and do that schit, that way we dont have to read the nonsense you talking about. You the first damn poster I saw in a movie thread act the way you do when people dont like a film. Nobody goes on and on as much as you. Sit yo ass down. I thought Stranger Things 2 was excellent...people came in that thread and was dissing it...I did not sit and carry on like you. How old are you to not know that people Like and Dislike schit in life.... ENough is damn enough.

You're proving my point. But go ahead, have at it.

If you say so. I call it telling you GTFOH. Numerous posters have echoed the same statement.... As you were white knight.

It is backtracking. He meant what he said the first time. He just did not think his critique would create such backlash. He is throwing the movie under the bus by that, and that was not his intent, so now he has to clean it up...he was keeping it real how he did not like the direction of his character. he 100% meant that. He never voiced it was a great movie the first time.

Its like the age ol saying. You only sorry cause you got caught...
