That is definitely Amir. Lol. Some folks just have the knack.

I'm glad he's coming off the bench. Our starting lineup is perfectly fine right now. We need scoring when Embiid is sitting. We also need a closer at the end of the game. I thought that scout's take on his offensive game was a bit hyperbolic. But someone who can get almost always get his shot without turning the rock over is what we need to stop all those fourth quarter turnovers during crunch time.

This board makes me tired. Trying to psychoanalyze the guy based off a playful jumper? I know it's been like a desert without water around here but this is bordering on the ridiculous.

How dare he have some fun in a casual moment during practice. Joel Embiid is clowning around pretty much all the time. Can you really make such an assumption based on a few video clips?

Jumper looked fine even being a funny one.

I've come to realize just how little the general public knows about shooting, forms, and which ones are good, which are bad, and which look good. It really is astonishing. You'd think these people never watched an NBA game in their lives. I guess that's what happens in the era of social media and technology. No one goes outside or plays sports anymore, so you have these wannabes who never picked up a basketball in their entire lives trying to break down a dude's form. It's cringe-worthy to say the least.

You see these frauds all over social media and the interwebs micro-analyze players forms like they're some expert when they have no idea what in the hell they're even talking about. "The elbow needs to be here and the angle needs to be there" lol dorks.

There are like 2 perfect orgasmic looking forms in the entire NBA. Every other form is unique and has their own quirks. You can find technical flaws in anything. At the end of the day only one thing matters: does it go in? That's it. When Fultz comes back, if nothing else, it'll expose the wannabes who want to give off the facade of knowing ball from those who actually do.

Can't wait to see the nerdy blog posts with GIFs analyzing the form frame by frame from dudes who never stepped foot on a basketball court in their entire lives.

When is the Sixers front office going to tell us something of substance? #1 overall pick remains a mystery. The Sixers treat their fan base like crap.

I'm sorry and its not your fault but why do Celtics fans care so much about our team?
There is this weird level of needing validation feeling I get from each and every celtics fan that jumps into these threads at random. Its normal to have peeps come over during games or with things that involve their team...we all lurk occasionally but no something is off. Like you mention Tatum and 5 dudes ascend from the heavens to defend his honor and ****. Its like some of them are waiting for Fultz to **** up so they can validate the trade....

its weird as ****.

I hear you. In my case, I can only assure you that I want Fultz to succeed. I am thrilled with Tatum, so no skin off my nose if the trade turns out a win-win. Fultz seems like a good young man. Yes, I am extra curious because of the trade that will forever link Tatum and Fultz, but I don't wish bad things for Fultz. I am just shocked by the lack of understanding of what's going on. That's all.

We are talking about practice? Practice? Not the game, not the game, but practice?

Jealousy. It's like the boyfriend who gets mad his woman dropped him and the second he finds out she's dating another dude he gets super jealous and stalkerish.

Its that psychological thing we all do to check relative value when we know we’re up. Like if you got a really good deal for an Iphone X, you will check the apple store when you’re bored to get a good feeling. :D
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

You know... I am starting to dislike Pompey. This isn't the first time he has posted something knowing full well it was going to cause an issue with the way people interpret it.

It's like the dude turns up to practice and sits there waiting for Fultz or Simmons or whoever to do something out of the ordinary and then selectively chooses that clip to upload because he knows if its controversial it will be retweeted and posted on forums.

Completely disagree. Process matters more than outcome in an attempt to optimize the performance, analyzing the process and improving it will result in a better outcome in the long term.
Just because this shot from Fultz went in, doesn't mean that the next 50 will. Analyzing the process can help you predict the future outcome better.

There's indeed no perfect form, every body is different and players have own preferences. However, completely inconsistent shooting motions or shooting forms which cause a lot of tension in the body lead to poor results in the majority of the cases.

Can't believe that someone with a username "LongLiveHinkie" has the opinion that short term result is the only thing that matters.

I would like to make a bet that it takes over 5 games for Fultz to make TWO three point shots. Anyone want action? His shot is broken.
Jeff Bezos says that if Amazon has a good quarter it’s because of work they did 3, 4, 5 years ago—not
because they did a good job that quarter.
