So Scott draws the last play for the anti-clutch Beal, genius

I mean, they lost this game when Brooks decided to bench Mahinmi and Satoransky and throw out a horrendous bench unit that got cooked.

But star players don’t lead by example, no leadership anywhere. Coach is an idiot.

They just lost to the worst road team in the league that was missing their starting frontcourt.

If Brooks drew up a late game play for an Otto Porter shot, the universe might explode

Well you gotta admit...Beal kinda stunk it up at the end too. He was pretty bad when it mattered again. Brooks has to be able to depend on Wall and Beal to execute a play out of a time out that gets a shot off...right. An allstar gets a shot off right?

Yeah for some reason I bet on them and I feel absolutely tortured watching this second half against a team that is 3-16 on the road and missing their 2 best bigs one of which is all team defense. Anyways just wanted to say hi, I share your pain.

Sorry for your L... but if you lose your cash this won’t be a bad beat - we could have told you

I know I know... Just have a soft spot for John and my mistake was thinking these Wizards had some heart to go out and kill a scrub 3-17 road team that gave them the worst loss of the season. Definitely not a bad beat though should've seen it coming after all my experience with wiz.
They scared now

Is it bad if I’m just sitting here staring at the tv laughing? I mean that was entertaining in a ‘funny as hell washington Generals kinda way’ right? Let’s get it close..build suspense then get caught in the air and drop the ball while going up :)

Tis better to have played a bad and injury depleted team close on your own court and choked, than never to have played a bad and injury depleted team close on your own court at all. I suppose blowing them out would have been the right move, but in what movie does that happen? They are such stuff as headaches are made.

I feel like our team is so cocky that they don’t get embarrassed. When something that should be embarrassing happens, they’ll find a way to blame others or chalk it up to bad luck or other circumstances.

Like right now, they should be flat-out embarrassed. But I highly doubt they are. Because if they were truly embarrassed, they would play with the focus and effort that would have made this an easy win.

And unfortunately, I don’t think there’s any changing that for this team. They think they’re hot sh*t and yet can’t even crack the top 4 in the freaking Eastern Conference. They just lost to a team that beat them by 47 points, without their star center and power forward....and wrote “47” on the white board in the locker room. Lol, that might work for a team who feels embarrassment but not us. Not this team.

Nah it’s not like Beal meant to mess up. You have to be able to depend on your two star players to give 100% effort and not be selfish idiots.

If Wall and Beal shot a combined 0-30 I wouldn’t care if they moved the ball, took good shots, played unselfish team basketball, and played defense.

Did you watch the whoolllllee 4th quarter. He didn’t just mess up on that last shot...he kinda was self checked on shot after shot at the rim and on open 3s. Wall had a bad game....Beal had a “hang your head and burn the tape kinda 4th quarter” again...

Yeah i agree with you. You know when its time to shake/break it up. This unit under this coach with this bench cant get it done. We watching the Celtics and Toronto play with heart and win in multiple ways and I am watching the wiz come up with new ways to lose the game...but it keeps boiling down to really uncanny play down the stretch, turn overs, lack of ball movement and then frantic play to get back in the game...only to fall short in the end .

i hope we dont do something stupid and make a trade to try to win 2 more games and give up our 1st rounder. I would bench Wall for the rest of the year...let him heal...put otto on the DL and start tanking for the lottery

Don't know why they are so cocky they have not won ****. Games like this is a joke to the team and being a so called Wizards fan. I did not watch this game because I knew they would lose. They are a joke.
