Another predictable second half collapse I see.

Layup drill for Minny. We settle for jumpshots.

So Melo 4-16 and PG 2-11 yet we will just do nothing but throw up contested mids.
This team is not good.
9 combined bench points.

I wonder how much we would have had to pay Adams if we had waited to sign him.

No ball movement. Ever.

Edit: then George throws a pass right at Melos feet, followed by Russ throwing it to butler.

We are what we are. We're a barely above .500 team who collectively has the worst shot selection in the league; we live and die by an unhealthy, gluttonous diet of the most inefficient shots in basketball. We have some very talented players so we can get hot for stretches of the season and win some games by playing that style, but because it such an awful, inefficient style, we're highly susceptible to losing streaks riddled with sub-100 point games despite having, on paper at least, immense amounts of talent.

Paul george can go to the Lakers for all I care. He is completely outclassed by Jimmy Butler.

I'm not watching anymore Thunder games until Dre comes back. There is no point at all in watching them otherwise.

It feels weird to think Russ needs actual help, but its reached that point. Hand over that Brooklyn pick Cleveland.

And like Oladipo, he’ll look much better in another uniform. I’ve fallen for this trap before. I’m not blaming George for struggling here.

Once again I’m sure Donovan doesn’t think it’s odd that Butler nails a three in Adams face.

No ...George actually is overrated as hell. Victor could always handle the ball to an extent. He just had a huge aggression problem. This year he is going to the rim and getting to the line more often and suddenly looks like an all star.

George:
Can't get to the line if his life depended on it.
Is one of the slowest ball handlers in the league.
Can't create separation off the dribble and has to settle for midrange.
Plays good 1v1 defense, but isn't particularly good at help defense.

People on general board were talking about how he is better in the playoffs, but the way he has been playing I doubt he can elevate his game to another level. He will still have the same deficiencies in his game whether he plays for the Lakers or where ever. He is not going to be worth 30 million if it comes to that and if OKC gives him that much I will be very disappointed.

If you think victor was a good ball handler when he was here you must have been watching different games than me. Like victor, George is shooting a better percentage here from three but suffers from disappearing acts. I don’t thnk George is great but we don’t get the most from our role players in this “system”. That’s what George and Oladipo are here, roleplayers.

Victor was a decent ball handler before, but he definitely worked immensely this offseason to improve. George at what Victor is making now would be a fair contract. Him making 30 mill per is insanity. If Los angeles is so hard up for players, they can pay him a max. We are in the same boat as New Orleans is. Cousins and George will not be worth the contracts that they will most likely be asking for, but the teams that currently have them have no flexibility or cap space. Both teams will be asking hard questions before the deadline.
