Why did Sato only play limited minutes while Meeks got extra burn?

You need defense and players who don’t turn it over after you let the Jazz go on a 11-1 run in the 3rd.

Bad defense at the end.

Oh well..

23-18 at the half way mark of the season.

When they really should be 30-11.

They’re on pace for 46 wins. Which may or may not get them home court in Round 1.

I just pray Ernie doesn’t trade our pick just so they win 3-4 more games...

It's time to put Meeks near the end of the bench or at least not play him at the 3 guard lineup. We're looking for the Meeks of the past when he USED to make 3-pointers at around a 40% clip. That ain't happenign. Agree that Sato should have played more than six minutes even though I think he's becoming more tentative lately. I mean there are no 7-foot, 175 point Chineese big men to dunk on.

Wasn't Beal 0-5 closing-out, missing two point-blank lay-ups? THEN, Brooks calls the final play for BEAL

Literally just got home from the game and a few rows from Otto on the last play, we were all screaming at Otto to throw to Wall and then he throws to Beal

John was not happy

I dont understand this team man, Im getting a bad vibe from 2 seasons ago Wittman's last season idk what it is. Our D lapses are just inexcusable sometimes and our PNR D is piss poor

Bad teams don't beat Boston on the road or go over .500 against good teams. This isn't a bad team. They are maddingly inconsistent and frustrating. They lose their focus against bad teams. Yes, they are mediocre.

Wow, you are right. He should have hit John in the corner. Maybe the play call was Brad but Wall was open. It shouldn't have come down to that but as bad a shooter as John is (his last 3 was an airball). I'd rather him shoot that shot than Brad.

Sorry but if you got John streaking like that open have him take the shot, hes the leader of the team and id rather him take it at that point

Being at this game and watching every jazz player seem to score in double figures getting whatever they want was frustrating. This team plays defense well in spurts and it shows but most of the time they don't and seem to think their offense will carry them throughoout. As the game progresses Otto disappears and if there's 5 mins left in a game beal shouldn't touch a basketball especially at the line. I don't understand brooks decision making sometimes. This was a very upsetting game to be at.

Things fell apart when the bench centers were in. A combined -14.

This was an incredibly frustrating game to watch, but it had nothing to do with these recriminations about who did or didn't take the last shots. Sure, it would be nice if in the heat of conflict Otto or anyone had made just the right pass. & if he had, then maybe a miracle could have pulled the game out.

But not having that miracle & Otto not making that right pass -- those aren't why we lost. They didn't have anything to do with why we lost!

The Jazz took 92 shots & 13 FTAs. We did get 17 FTAs, but we only got to take 78 shots. It's almost impossible to win a game when you give the opponent 14 extra shots.

John Wall & Bradley Beal combined to turn the ball over 13 times tonight. Pure & simple, that's why we lost.

No other explanation is required, yet it's worth noting that the two of them also combined to go 8-13 from the FT line (61%). & that Wall seemed to take every other play off on defense.

Just to add a little to the above -- we also ran our offense incredibly well, so that wasn't why we lost.

We made 41 shots tonight. 25 of those makes were assisted. That's kind of incredibly good. Especially since Wall had 14 of the 41 makes.

OTTO..what are you thinking there? Even if it is called for Beal...beal has been struggling in clutch time and JW is wide open. JW cant shoot but at least that shot gets off :(
