I just saw the interview. Lavar seemed pretty rational up until the end. IMO, I don't even think he believes that the Lakers are going to win.

I sometimes forget that truthaboutit does an excellent job covering the Wizards, great piece I haven't seen mentioned around here.

A few weeks old, but it rings true.

Polish interview with Marcin Gortat ... just use the google translator on this article

http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/koszykowka/nba,marcin-gortat-wywiad-jestem-zmeczony-nasza-sytuacja,artykul,838760,1,299.html

Especially the part with Scott Brooks is kind of disturbing ...

In situations when you play the role of a favorite and you win away, does it happen that Scott Brooks trainer gets mad and in the locker room is he hot?
Gortat: Well, no. Our trainer has a completely different style. It is always cool, that is relaxed and pleasant for everyone. This, of course, has its good sides, because it does not discourage anyone, but there are also such characters, which - maybe not by shouting - but you have to tell the truth in the eyes. Our coach saves himself and the basketball players.

So, what about Brooks' claims, you know only what he says in public? He will sometimes criticize the matches, sometimes he will not get involved, but never at a specific address, never at all.
Gortat: That's exactly what it is. It can be said that the assessment of my attitude by the trainer is as familiar to me as the journalist of Przegląd Sportowy.

Stephen A. God Damn Smith

Tell em....

If you didnt see Stephen A go in on the Wizards it was Great. Cliff:

- Wall and Beal think their great and they have proven nothing
- Beal is one of the most Anti Clutch players in NBA. Cites 21% shooting from 3 and 67% at FT in Crunch time
- Scott Brooks needs to draw up more plays for Otto and also Oubre
- DC deserves better than this

LOL. I absolutely LOVE that it takes him a full 20 seconds to start talking as he just looks so frustrated and confused by this team... I think the 17 second mark explains us perfect...

I know I didn't contribute to that. I've been at work during 90% of Wizards games since early December. I wonder what's behind the spike?
