The reason is you have LeBron and a chance to win an NBA title with another good player. The pick doesn't do Cleveland any good.

There is no player good enough atm to help beat GSW to warrant trading it away. And why would Cleveland trade it away if Lebron leaves in 5 months?

Cleveland's best chance at anything is still convincing Lebron to re-sign there. If you get a player locked up for the next couple years with that pick and shed some contracts (Shump, JR, TT) in the process, that helps you this year and with recruiting Lebron in the offseason. Or are people just that convinced that he's going to LA to team up with Paul George and nothing else (cuz they spent all their cap room on those two)?

I'm just not sure Cleveland should look to move anything before they know what Lebron is going to do. I'm for sure not moving it for one year of Kemba or the rights to pay 32 year old Mike Conley $34 million.

Not my best trade offers but I feel these are solid trading teams....Here we go

Bucks: Couple expirings and playoff push this year while clearing salary off the books
Cavs: Get a few pieces to push for playoffs and keep Lebron happy. Doesn't help salary cap unless Jordan leaves.
Clippers: Get 3 bigs and a small forward under contract for many years. Can build a solid team going forward. Also should get a pick too.
Knicks: Clear rotation spot for Trey Burke and get Wilson they can work on. Bucks could throw in a 2nd.

Jabari for Tristan Thompson and a second as the basis (add contracts to make it work).

I'm as far from a Jabari guy as you're gonna find and that's horrific.

Since I consider Jabari to be a (slight) net negative, the only thing bad about that deal is TT's contract. But it would mean we wouldn't pay Jabari, and that's a positive.

Bucks should really be trying to get Robin Lopez, I’m with PP. Don’t think it would cost a core player either, just put Thon in the package.

hes not a star player, hes not even close to a fringe all star he seems better cause their arent many good shooting guards in the league atm.

“Not even close to a fringe all-star…”

The hate is strong in this one.

20-5-4 on 58% TS

Peak Rip Hamilton was a 3x All Star putting up 19-3-3 on ~55% TS. Andre Iguodala made it one year averaging 12-5-6. Demar DeRozan is a 3x All-Star and has only bettered Middleton’s current year twice (last year and this year).

I get you hate the guy, but at least rationalize it.

Full strength GS it'd be difficult. But they've gotta do whatever they can to entice LeBron to stay. Sitting on that pick in LeBron's walk-year is borderline malfeasance.

Stanley Johnson is on the block. I'd definitely do DJ/Rashad for Stanley.

We get better, Orlando shakes it up & gets some Hammond guys back.

Bucks: Evan Fournier, Jonathan Simmons, Nikola Vucevic
Magic: Khris Middletn, Thon, Delly or Snelly (their choice), Wilson & Vaughn (Vaughn likely waived along with another Magic minimum contract)

Bledsoe/Brogdon/Delly
Fournier/Brogdon/Simmons
Simmons/Brown (Jabari)
Giannis/(Jabari)
Henson/Vucevic

I like that deal a lot outside of Vucevic. Anyway he can stay in Orlando?

As much buzz as a deandre trade would create, I think the jazz make much better trade partners.

Here's my idea between the 2 teams.

MIL OUT: Parker, Delly, Vaughn, 2nd round pick
Utah OUT: Favors, Joe Johnson

Milwaukee gets the size it needs and Johnson to come in to help the bench with his ability to play 2-4. Can choose to resign Favors or let space open up with Delly off the books and no risky Parker contract.

Utah will soon be at the point of having to punt on the season, and would be logical suitors for Parker in the off season who would value his bird rights. They move forward with Gobert/Parker/Hood/Mitchell/Rubio, a top 10 pick in the draft, and a gamble on Australian national team synergy giving them production from Exum, Delly, Ingles units.

Sure, Middleton & one of Snell/Delly for Fournier & Simmons works. But you'd rather have Thon, Wilson & Vaughn than Vucevic?

Edit- This works for me too-

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ycpvw8ut

In: Fournier, Simmons, Speights
Out: Middleton/Snell/Wilson
