Locally sure, nationally not even close. Half the leagues fans hate lonzo and thats being generous. Theres only 1 fan base crapping on fultz right now.

There was huge thread in the general NBA sub on Redditand the vast majority were destroying Fultz, and they aren't all Sixers fans. Lonzo hae caught a lot of hate, though it has cooled down a bunch. As you said a lot of hate was because of Lavar. There have been a lot of Lonzo is a great kid stuff too. Recently no one has had a nice word for Fultz, his past accomplishments and play have been brushed aside, like he was a scrub. The situation is bizarre, but let him play a month or two.

its going to be that way until he plays...

Lonzo's hatewave has cooled as he has started to play better. Team also has won...so that also helps.

Most of this Fultz' angst is due to his inactivity and also the team's struggles. Its hard to be positive right now. If he comes back, plays well and the team stops dying, the hatebeasts will move on to the next target.

he comes back and sucks...and we stay losing.....wooo boooooyyyy

What makes the Fultz situation look so bad now is that they probably could have gotten him at 3, the Celtics were clearly going to take Tatum no matter what, they just decided to fleece a sucker in the process. How much better would the Sixers look right now if Bryan could scout and traded down to take Donovan Mitchell :banghead:

The whole Fultz situation is weird just to say the least. It's a unique and rare situation, not sure if any other players have gone through something like this, Landry Feilds had some nerve damage and was out of the league soon after, hopefully it's nothing like that. Sixers are my secondary team, hope he lives up to the hype.

Now we have to treat him like a work-in-progress project which is ridiculous for a 1st pick

It's obvious the Celtics saw psychological red flags all over the place with Fultz. I mean, just watching this video I would be terrified to draft this guy. He has no idea when his first NBA game is. He thinks he has 23 teams he is competing with. That was terrifying.

Lol you could have basically said the same thing about most of the other guys in the video too.

The cool thing is none of this crap matters. It's all talk radio fodder. Just get him on the court.

Just want to say that all we are getting is either blurry video or off balance fadeaways off one leg. The last clear video we had of him taking a normal jumper was from a week ago and it looked ok there. Think it's a little too early to be calling him a bust before we actually see him in a game. Brett Brown himself said Fultz' pull-up looked good in the 5 on 5 last week. Let's wait till we can see some regular jump shots at a normal angle before we go too crazy. Plus, his free-throw form looks smoother then it did in UW.

Big time. If Fultz plays and his shot is still broken Colangelo has to step down. The man was handed a team with buddings stars and a bunch of assets and still managed to balls it up.

My God that's ugly. Anyone that has played basketball knows the guy guarding him could have blocked a shot easily if he wanted to.. he let him get it off.

no sh***. it's practice, fultz isn't going full speed, nor is macadoo.

@ 1:45, Fultz vs Oubre who is long, and is a pretty good defender. same exact shot, gets it off easily against a much better defender than macadoodoo

I hope your not making your case for Fultz based on how he played so far this year. He was a negative on the floor who was scared to shoot.

This is ultimately how I feel. I was just saying earlier that I can understand the paranoia, doubt, and worry that Philly fans have over this. We won't know until he plays.
