Bottom line Klay is perfect offball Guard for Curry. He’s the ultimate 3 and D player.

Booker is a great scorer can handle the ball some, but is not as efficient of a scorer compared to Klay and a poor defender by all metrics.

Klay isn't a very good defender, he's a terrible defender. He only has the reputation of a great defender because of how well defensively the Warriors play.

You're drunk. That makes no sense.

Right? There is reason why cavs couldn’t take much advantage when Klay is switched on to Lebron or love, while Klay guards kyrie full time.

Klay is an excellent man defender and an average team defender. A good defender overall.

No one would be calling Klay a good defender, if he were playing for the Suns.

The better comparison would be when Klay gets his max contract, you could in theory have Booker and the cap space for another star player.

No he isn't, as already mentioned, he is a good defender overall better man than off ball but he isn't some shut down player

Overrated ass booker on the warriors would probably mean an upset

wow
this a naughty swap

You can't put Klay on a worse situation and the same applies to Booker somehow given his skills. Frankly I don't even know how much playing time he would get on the warriors

I'm not sure the Suns CAN get anymore worse but I'm sure they don't get better by much

warriors drop into the tank defensively. Offensively, Curry and Durant get frustrated with Booker taking ill advised shots.

how does replacing Thomas with Irving not make a difference for Boston but makes Cleveland worse. for GS doesn't make a difference because they have enough talent to buffer any changes in defensive, shooting efficiency.

Would love to see Klay end up on SAS with Kawhi. What a killer combo of androids that would make

Booker is a better offensive player, but to play as a "role player" Klay is more indicated, mainly for being a legendary shooter and good defender

LOL. Has anyone noticed that Klay's numbers don't go up AT ALL when Steph's gone? What makes us think he could get out of double teams and slash enough to get 22 ppg > on great efficiency like Booker? I think Booker's already a better scorer, so much so that it prob. almost outweighs the defense difference. But on the suns, they're not missing a No. 1 scoring option and reliable distributor and don't improve. At best, they're about the same.

GSW gets worse obviously, their backcourt defense becomes one of the worst in the league, making the Finals no longer a lock.

PHX is too much of a mess and gives their young guys too many minutes, if they leaned on their veterans more and tried to win games, I could see them making the playoffs with Klay.

Booker is a pathetic defender

As a Suns fan I would never trade Devin for Klay. I know it's not related to the thread topic, but Devin is not only much younger, he is also a leader, Klay is not. Thompson looked terrible(missing open shots) for stretches in last year's playoffs, probably because he lost confidence with his role reduced after Durant's signing.

Which veterans are you talking about ? Chandler and Dudley ? You obviously don't know anything about the Suns.
