MJ was at the game again today. He looked pretty disappointed for most of the game. Probably weighing the tank option while we are handcuffed by Batum's contract. With next year being 30th year anniversary for the Hornets and hosting the All Star game, he probably wouldn't lose too much money if we tanked it up this year and next.

Completely disagree. People aren't going to show up to see a tanking team because of an anniversary or because of the ASG.

I'm not saying the place will be packed but just the nostalgia factor and classic Hornets giveaways would get more people to show up. If we tanked this year and got a guy like Bagley combined with more minutes for Monk, we'd at least have some exciting players to watch. The ASG should just be an extra revenue boost.

Obviously, tanking is hard for any franchise to take, but just the fact that the fans have a little something to be excited about would make it not a terrible year for MJ imo.
