how is that even arguable?

The hand of a defender getting the ball isn't automatically a clean block. A shooter has to land somewhere. Flying into the shooter's body and clobbering him to the ground is 100% a foul. The only exception is if the defender went up vertically, which he didn't.

Why is the offensive player immediately granted that space? Once the ball is blocked it’s just two dudes running into each other, play on imo no foul either way
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Huh? DeMar, outside of 2 games, is just **** dandy against the Cavs in the playoffs. In fact, he was pretty damn good. Kyle, also, was good against the Cavs.
That's the issue with following narratives and not truths. Yeah, they struggle to shoot in the playoffs, but the Cavs are actually the least of my concerns with DeMar and Kyle's offence specifically. Stopping the cavs from scoring is what has been impossible for us.

I'd be willing to bet that you're so ignorant on the subject that you don't even know that Lowry didn't play two of the 4 games we played vs the cavs last year.

They shut down the Cavs when it was 2-2 that yr in Tor

Yeah, those two games at home with Biyombo playing at such an insanely high level were the only times we showed a glimpse. But classic cavs, they get complacent when they're ahead.

Cuban saying they can’t go back... ugh, it was all the same scrum. One continuous scrum.

And they got it right. That’s the most important thing.

I mean... others have pointed this out already. Do you understand the rule? Sure Derozan was out of bounds when he touched it, but it's not about it being one continuous scrum. They can only review the initial call itself (i.e. did Curry touch the ball afterwards?). So what happened prior is no longer reviewable. That's the rule, simple.

No they did not get it right. It's happened enough time to the Raptors where a call was not overturned in the past, because it wasn't the initial call on the review. So if the rule applies then why wouldn't it apply here in this case?

Y'all are nuts though cuz he is always double teamed throughout the playoffs and he has still had HUGE games for us in the playoffs. Also against brooklyn he was better in the playoffs than regular season.

Anyway, demar is gonna slap these playoffs and then all y'all will act like you were right all along. wack

Go check Lowrys playoff stats against the Cavs and then go look in the mirror and call yourself a casual.

Poeltl body check's Curry and Raps fans want to complain about the call? Raps fans just love to complain I see.

Curry went up soft and tried to throw a high floater.. If he had taken it in strong and protected the ball, I'd agree... But is Jakob not supposed to contest the shot? he went straight up, and Curry's momentum went into him.

Poetl jumped towards Curry and hip checked him down low.

Obviously that's not a foul and a clean block. It's not even debatable. If that was a foul, any guard could get fouled 95% of the time by launching horizontally into centers and throwing up a shot

I’m not sure that’s true, all the time I see kicked ball calls that seem to be inadvertent. A guy’s foot hits the ball in any way and that’s usually called.

There was a blatant hip check down low. Poetl didn't jump vertically straight up.

Starboy wrote:My god it's a regular season game. Raptors fans collectively reading the rule book to prove that they should've had a chance to jack up a 3 with less than second to go to tie

It was Mark Cuban who pointed it out. I'm sure Raps fans wont care much about the outcome of the game. They more concerned with simple rules not being applied. Does this happen in the NBA often? How many times has this happened in the past for ANY team? Will it happen in the future? You know....things like that.

Stuff like this should concern you too lol

Pretty much the exact same play with same body contact that the refs chose not to call.

The reffing was bad on both sides though in general in this game. The Raps were not getting any calls early, then got a lot of calls and the Dubs were frustrated and then the refs at the end made some bad calls that went against the Raptors.

It was just a poorly officiated game.

Why are you guys still on this? He still missed both FTs, and you still lost. The play ended up changing nothing.
