Our performance with our last 3 1st round picks make me less interested in trading for picks.

That's especially if liquidating an asset like Middleton would be involved.

One of the main goals, if not the main goal in trading Middleton should be clearing enough salary to replace him in the core via FA. That should be a priority for the Bucks. Bledsoe was excited enough to play with Giannis and the Bucks that he desperately wanted to leave sunny Phoenix for them (among a few others I'm sure). I don't know exactly who else we could add via FA, but I'd like to find out. If we struck out, we could always use that space to eat a sizable salary into, while conceding one of said 1sts which we typically blow, and get a different core player in exchange. Although they probably don't have the competency for that either. But we have to do something.

Nets pick is currently sitting 9th, you are overvaluing the pick since it says Nets next to it. Middleton is definitely worth a mid/late lottery pick especially if you take on TT

Gotta disagree here.

I just don't trust our ability to bring in free agents who would be a step above Middleton.

I fear dropping cap would be way more likely to result in another Monroe or Teletovic or Delly or Bobby Simmons as opposed to us signing a star player.

Monroe was a pretty good score at the time, ended up being our 2nd best player last year, and Giannis has come a long way since then in terms of league perception. He's a superstar now. Vets starting to chase ships in their mid to later 20's and up are interested in playing with guys like that. Plus, we can sell Bledsoe.

How much is Middleton helping us right now? He's a bad defender after the injury, and on O he's a volume guy who is struggling to get separation but takes a ton of shots anyway. Maybe 15 years ago his style would suffice but we're in an era of efficiency and 3-point shooting. He won't fit in to the league climate let alone our own.

Sign Ramon Sessions and Andrew Bogut

Bucks: Dudley, Pachulia, and Illyasova
Suns: Delly and Telly
Hawks: Maker and Len
Warriors: Wilson

The champions have returned and the squad is reunited under the Greek God.

I know you are joking but we would be a much better team

its also 3 games or so from being in the top 6 and all it takes it one lucky ball to get a star

I don't wanna see any trades unless they're home runs until we see this group with an actual coaching staff. Imagine being Khris or Brogdon busting ass all night with that pathetic defense and seeing john Henson taking 18 foot jumpers on offense, only to hear "just need more energy and effort" from your coach after getting murked by the freakin Heat. You'd stop trying after awhile too.

The Knicks get the three worst players in the deal.

Dump Vaughn, Terry, and SKilpatrick. Sign Jamil Wilson, Bolomboy, and Withey. Stretch Delly this summer and sign Munford to a regular contract.
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

Just make it TT and the pick for Middleton, but sure if they want Delly the deal could be expanded.

Do people not realize this pick is currently slotted at 8? And dangerously close to 11? You want to give away the best player, take on TT, and that's your payoff?

Waiving and stretching Delly so you can just have 6.4M of dead money on your salary cap for the next three seasons seems like a boneheaded move.

At this point I could care less, just want better players on the court. In addition to a GM and a better Coach of course.

I think we all do. Just burning that money up and losing flexibility with it seems reactionary and shortsighted more than it does a move conducive to improving the roster.

That's fine but that saves very little and likely doesn't accomplish getting better players. There isn't much difference between crappy NBA players and AAAA players.

I would like to see if Withey is worth a damn though.

I don't think Vivek would give up Buddy his love child even though I'm not sure Buddy is a basketball player (he's only really a three point shooter).

That said, I'm intrigued by this one. Hill's contract is terrible but he and Buddy might open things up for Giannis. Koufos is bad but competent compared to Thon.

The challenge is there is no upside in this deal for the Kings. They'd need "upside" to dump Buddy IMO.
