At this point I could care less, just want better players on the court. In addition to a GM and a better Coach of course.

That's fine but that saves very little and likely doesn't accomplish getting better players. There isn't much difference between crappy NBA players and AAAA players.

I would like to see if Withey is worth a damn though.

Middleton/Jabari
Giannis/Thomas/
Henson/Hernangomez

The Knicks get the three worst players in the deal.

I think we are at a point where even our last 2 1st rounders have little value. We need to sell now on some assets and just get better. I think some of our guys still have value but this board doesn't seem to think that. Sell now and restart this squad.

Clippers are 8-2 in their last 10 and a game out of the playoffs. I think they're just going to stand pat and ride it out with who they have. Would be surprised to see them trade Jordan at this point.

I just checked this trade in the trade checker and it works. We do it to get a couple good young talented players and gain some size and physical presence down low. Miami does it to shed Olynk's long contract and get Middleton for a playoff run, or an expiring next year to help them sign a big name free agent.

Nets pick is currently sitting 9th, you are overvaluing the pick since it says Nets next to it. Middleton is definitely worth a mid/late lottery pick especially if you take on TT

its also 3 games or so from being in the top 6 and all it takes it one lucky ball to get a star

They are also 3 games out from being out of the lottery

Think it's more likely a bad team starts dropping more games at a higher rate and getting into the bottom 3 than getting hot and making the playoffs.

Middleton, Bledsoe, Brogdon and Jabari are all due big contracts.

Do we pay 2/4? 3/4? 4/4?

If we drop Delly or Snell that would make it easier to pay 3 but I have a hard time seeing us keeping all 4.

Marc Stein:

It’s an open secret that the Bucks, after acquiring Eric Bledsoe from Phoenix to pair Bledsoe’s athleticism with the frontcourt sensation Giannis Antetokounmpo, are trying to pull off a trade for DeAndre Jordan to address a need for more rim protection. But Jabari Parker will soon be back from injury, which almost guarantees a needed boost to Milwaukee’s meek second unit.

Brogdon's becoming a must-sign.

Other trade talk from Stein:

The Pistons are openly pursuing roster upgrades via trade, preferring to focus on the promise they see in their highs to date — wins over the West’s top teams (Golden State, Houston and Minnesota twice) — as opposed to their various lows (Reggie Jackson’s ankle injury, an 0-7 start to the month of December and a recent 3-10 funk on the road). Which isn’t surprising when the coach (Stan Van Gundy) runs the front office, too.

The Clippers have had too many injuries in the wake of Chris Paul’s departure to come down hard on Coach Doc Rivers for the team’s struggles to stay in the West’s top eight. But the club’s deep-pocketed owner, Steve Ballmer, wants to win so badly that Rivers’s future remains a subject of great curiosity — in addition to DeAndre Jordan’s and that of the veteran guard Lou Williams amid Williams’ unexpectedly potent season.

The Michael Jordan-owned Hornets are going nowhere. Yet we advise you to track them at least through the Feb. 8 trade deadline because Charlotte will probably be forced to consider dealing Kemba Walker. If Walker stays, Jordan risks losing his best player without compensation in the summer of 2019 — or, perhaps worse, paying big bucks to hang on to him instead of starting an overdue tear-down of a pricey but mediocre roster.

It might go down as one of the great unsolved mysteries of our time: How did this Magic team start 8-4? Orlando has since gone a ghastly 4-27, which will most likely lead to a fire sale at next month’s trade deadline. Rival executives expect Jeff Weltman, Orlando’s new team president, to aggressively hunt for new homes for the likes of Evan Fournier, Elfrid Payton and Mario Hezonja, given that Nikola Vucevic’s broken finger is likely to preclude dealing the center.

Thats why Middleton is expendable.

I can see this too.

That's even if we extend Bledsoe considering his durability concerns.

There are literally Realgm posters who would have drafted better with no pro scouting department at their disposal. Some of the decisions are so mind numbing that its unbelievable.

Agreed. I strongly feel that 90% of the posters on this forum would have done a better job in the draft the last few years than our front office has.

Reggie Bullock is what Snell was supposed to be like, on the 1/8th of Tony's contract. That's the reason why we may not be able to pay Brogs, not Midd's contract...

I am pretty certain Jabari and Brogs will get their money, Middleton and Bledsoe will be the problem.

Brogdon for sure. He's so damn solid and likely won't need the max. If Jabari looks good they'll match whatever he's offered. Khris and Bledsoe are more wait and see. They're at their peak now and I don't know how gracefully either will age. They'll both want big raises and I don't like what I think they'll look like after they get their money.

My guess is 3/4 and my order of preference is
Brogdon
Jabari
Bledsoe
Khris
