Anything with low volume that is not on multiple major exchanges will be pumped and dumped over and over again until the market cap is too big for single groups to affect the price

Ripple just partnered with Moneygram, one of the largest leading international money transfer services in the world, and they still have yet to announce two more partnerships that they have been working on with other money transfer companies and banks. Coinbase's owners would be FOOLS to not jump on with Ripple and how much money they will make off buying/trading fees from it.

Ripple might have been my best (non ICO) trade ever. I think I rode it from 5 cents to 45 cents during that first rise. I got out for good as I just didn't feel good about what it stands for. I'm not meaning that it will not go up of course, but Ripple is sort of like a Big bank Crypto. It is not what anyone would call decentralized.

So, when we talk about Ripple, to me and many people, it is starting to get out of that vein of what this space was to stand for. I say that having made that great trade, so I'm not judging, just saying to really look at what it is and what it will become. What happens (to Ripple) when the banks have problems again? Will it sell off, can it help them? I tend to think it will tank, but it also might make you lots and lots of money. But I'm gonna stay true to my guns now with Satoshi's vision (to a point.) Again, not against you or anyone making money, but look closer at Ripple.

Ripple and other centralized currencies will be making money for the short-term. They attract institutional money, as is the nature of centralization. But as blockchain starts being implemented across the board beyond crypto currency applications, you will see centralized cryptocurrencies fade to black. The biggest strength of the blockchain is the decentralized nature of it and removing the element of human trust in transactions. Thats my opinion at least. Ripple, was never a fan of the tech but dang if I aint mad on missing out on those gains.

And as far as ripple being added to coinbase...not anytime soon and certainly not going to be one of the first ones. Coinbase really fumbled the addition of Bitcoin Cash and the public backlash was strong and loud. Think that really pushed back their timeline of adding coins. But more importantly, Ripple doesnt even meet the criteria to be added to Coinbase/GDax for a few reasons. One of them being that it is centralized. https://www.gdax.com/static/digital-asset-framework-2017-11.pdf

So at the very least, the addition of Ripple to Coinbase would be preceded by an addendum to the GDAX listing criteria, which at that point will be a pretty obvious signal that they will be listing Ripple.

Are you trying to buy via a bank transfer? They've been taking forever with those. If you want it instantly, you need to transfer USD into the account, which takes time to clear as well but you are able to execute trades more or less instantly.

And also, you should transfer your funds to GDAX, same company but lower fees across the board and more advanced platform.

hype is super low on Bitcoin right now and this Alt run is starting to fizzle out. Anybody else feeling a BTC bull run coming soon? Think it might test 20k in the near future again.

just a heads up after looking into it more i has to be some kind of shady ass manipulation. don't even think it's whales though

most kucoin currencies are getting obliterated

I've also noticed that BCD, one of the few in the green, is making heavy gains and is worth 3x as much on kucoin as it is on binance

good thing i only got peanuts on kucoin but this **** is wack

The public backlash for the release of Bcash was because there was absolutely NO announcement about it and almost a month later the trading pair markets for Bcash still have not been opened. Bcash essentially looked like a huge insider trading job, judging by how the price spiked over a thousand dollars RIGHT before the markets opened. Some people even got their $8900/coin sell orders filled, which was a MAJOR blunder on Coinbase's part.

"We reserve full and absolute discretion to list, not list, or de-list any asset for trading on GDAX regardless of how the criteria in this framework apply to the asset.

Ripple will be added once they fix the kinks in their API. You can bank it.

Kucoin has almost no trading volume. Somebody keyed in on that and has been pumping coins that Kucoin and Binance both list, therefore making themselves a LOT of money. BCD, for instance. From what I gathered, they had a bot on both sides that was pumping the price up on Kucoin to sell, then rebuying the low on Binance. Rinse and repeat with walls all over the place to keep the price in a certain range. It went from about $30USD, to $80USD, to $140USD, to about $340USD yesterday afternoon before he FINALLY stopped the game and the price is now back down around $85USD.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Dent is clearly ready to blast off. Look at the chart, it is a series of descending triangle like fractals (much like bitcoins prior rises but a bit different in shape.) Many cryptos are flashing this of course. If Bitcoin can hold here, these alts might really explode. Something you will not believe. And Bitcoin looks so far to be holding. Should break out in the next week or two. We are on our way to 30k+ if so. Now, what will that kind of rise due to alts? I think this time they run with it...

Well said, but don't put it beyond the banks to make Ripple #1. But that won't mean much to people in parts of the world who can't use it, vs. decentralized crypto. I've long thought that banks, institutions, etc. can put lots of money into anything and make that the next big thing and the masses will follow. But bad money is gonna die out anyway, so no worries.

Yeah, and don't let his outspoken nature distract you (speaking to others.) He is a VERY intelligent guy in general and his take on Crypto is up there. I definitely respect his opinions (except he won't play any ICO's, which sort of speaks for itself, especially if you ever really really hit any.)

No doubt that Ripple can make you money and no doubt that it is super fast and (thus far) effective. But once regulations get into Ripple, I bet you you will need KYC to even move funds from one address to another, and you will have to register addresses, etc. lol
