I didn’t realize Javon Wims was that tall. I thought he was in the 6’1 / 6’2 range. Now it makes sense how he’s able to win so many jump balls.

I KNEW IT...! During the game, one of the announcers mentioned that he was 6’4. Six freaking four!! Yeah aight.

Javon Wims - WR - Bulldogs

Georgia senior WR Javon Wims accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl.

Wims (6'2/215) was forced out of the National Championship Game loss to Alabama, but he did return and should be fully healthy by the time the event takes place. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound wideout was Georgia's best playmaker in the passing game, and is also considered one of the better blockers at the position. He could work himself into Day 2 consideration if he tests well, but there's also a chance that a lack of speed could move him into the Day 3 range.

Dre'Mont Jones - DL - Buckeyes

Ohio State redshirt sophomore DT Dre'Mont Jones will return to school for the 2018 season.

Jones (6'3/295) is the second Buckeye to announce on Thursday that he'll be heading back to Columbus, joining WR Parris Campbell who likewise will keep himself out of the draft pool for 2018. For his part, the redshirt sophomore defensive tackle posted 20 tackles (5.0 for loss) and a singular sack in 2017. While the former four-star recruit has athletic upside in spades -- over the summer, Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline pegged him as a potential first-rounder -- his statistical output for the campaign was noticeably down from what he posted in his first active year at OSU. For the 2016 campaign, Jones stepped up to register 51 tackles.

Jaylen Smith - WR - Cardinals

Louisville junior WR Jaylen Smith will return to school for the 2018 season.

Smith (6'4/219) has had the luxury of sharing the field with the nation's most electric athlete in Lamar Jackson. The big-play threat will be facing a new set of hurdles with Jackson off to the NFL. We like him to keep up his success even sans L-Jax, though. The junior wideout has improved consistently over his three years in the program and posted a 60-980-7 receiving line for the past campaign.

Parris Campbell - WR - Buckeyes

Ohio State redshirt junior WR Parris Campbell will return to school for the 2018 season.

Campbell (6'1/208) likely would have been fighting it out for a Day 2/early Day 3 selection had he declared for the draft. As is, he'll be heading back to Columbus. The redshirt junior posted a 39-573-3 receiving line for the 2017 campaign, his first season as a truly integrated piece in the OSU offense. While those are relatively modest numbers, he also performed well as a kick returner and was aces in terms of his work after the catch. Campbell averaged 13 YAC, good for the best mark in the country per Pro Football Focus. Consistency will be the next step for the athletic wideout -- he was held under 60 yards receiving in 11 of 13 games during the 2017 campaign.

Don’t we have two third round picks? I’d use one of them on him in a heartbeat:

Arden Key - DL - Tigers

Walter Football's Charlie Campbell reports that [e]valuators at multiple franchises" have voiced off-field concerns regarding LSU edge rusher Arden Key.

"They all said that the background check on Key is very important, and how he interviews with teams during the lead-up to the 2018 NFL Draft will be critical," Campbell writes. He passes along that Key's absence from the team in the offseason -- while he was ostensibly recovering from shoulder surgery -- might have been in some way also related to these off-field concerns. If NFL teams are not sold in interviews, Campbell notes, Key could be in for a "substantial" drop in the draft, possibly out of the first round altogether. All of these potential red flags do not diminish Key's immense on-field talent and upside, but his draft process might end up being more involved than was initially thought. We're keen on seeing how his combine experience unfolds.

Minkah Fitzpatrick - DB - Crimson Tide

Alabama junior DB Minkah Fitzpatrick will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Fitzpatrick (6'1/195) won both the Chuck Bednarik (best defensive back) and Jim Thorpe awards (best overall defensive player) in December for his stellar 2017 campaign. He's a potential top-five pick for the spring and brings to the table an aggressive nature coupled with an outstanding fluidity and a strong nose for the ball -- he's picked off nine passes in his career, with six of those coming during the 2016 season. Fitzpatrick is not only adept in coverage, but also against the run and screen games. He's the total package.

Ronnie Harrison - DB - Crimson Tide

AL.com's Matt Zenitz reports that Alabama junior S Ronnie Harrison will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Harrison (6'3/216) was named an All-SEC first-teamer for his work during the 2017 campaign. He logged 74 tackles (4.5 for loss), three sacks and three interceptions for the season. The trio of picks are nothing new -- Harrison has at least two of them in each of his three years in Tuscaloosa. While he's not as much an athletic specimen as fellow S Minkah Fitzpatrick, Harrison is a smart player with plus-instincts and a tough customer against the run. On the side of demerit, Walter Football's Charlie Campbell has been less-than-impressed by his work in man-to-man coverage and sees his best fit at the NFL level coming in a zone scheme. We expect him to be swept off the board on Day 1 this spring, early on Day 2 at the latest.

I've had big questions about this guy's effort for a long time. Don't think he's done anything to change my mind.

Pass.

Clelin Ferrell - DL - Tigers

Clemson HC Dabo Swinney announced that redshirt sophomore DE Clelin Ferrell is returning to school for his junior season.

It's a massive return for the Tigers. Ferrell (6'5/265) was one of the best pass-rushers in the ACC in 2017, finishing with 9.5 sacks and 18 tackle for loss. He was projected by some to be a mid first-round selection, but he'll return to the Tigers in hopes of improving his stock and playing for another chance for the playoffs. Clemson fans should be thrilled.

Luckily, he probably wouldn't have gone top 10 anyway.

Chase Litton - QB - Thundering Herd

Marshall junior QB Chase Litton will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Litton (6'6/207) was an incredibly consistent quarterback during his three years at Marshall, throwing for at least 23 touchdowns in each of his campaigns with the Thundering Herd. He figures to be an interesting evaluation over the coming months. Walter Football's Charlie Campbell refers to him as a "love/hate prospect" depending on the evaluator. CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso, for one, tabbed him as one of the more underrated prospects in the country near the end of October, citing a "Jimmy Garoppolo-like delivery." Just where Litton might fall in the draft has some variance to it -- we wouldn't be shocked to see him off the board late on Day 2, nor would we be surprised if he slid to near the end of Day 3 or even went undrafted altogether.

Myles Gaskin - RB - Huskies

Washington junior RB Myles Gaskin will return to school for the 2018 season.

The Seattle Times' Adam Jude passed along several days ago that the 5-foot-9, 192-pound Gaskin was leaning toward a return to the Huskies over entering the NFL Draft. That has now come to pass. The junior back has topped 1,300 yards rushing in each of his first three campaigns in Seattle, most recently ending the 2017 season having rushed for 1,380 yards (6.2 YPC) and 21 touchdowns. The Huskies lost DT Vita Vea to the draft this winter, but outside of that, they are one of the clear winners from declaration season -- in addition to Gaskin, QB Jake Browning, T Kaleb McGary, DT Greg Gaines and S JoJo McIntosh all opted to keep the band together.

Dude probably received a second round grade. Kid was a bit overrated, I couldn’t believe he was being projected as a top 10 pick by some:

Overrated???? Nu uh. Christian Wilkins is probably the most underrated player in college football. He'll be in the hall of fame one day.

With the 32nd pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the 49ers select: Nobody... but they trade up to draft CHRISTIAN WILKINS, DL Clemson.
