He'll be fine getting to the lane in the NBA, but he's going to struggle finishing at the rim IMO. I don't think it will matter too much because of all the other things he does offensively, but his timing on layups is awkward and he puts himself in weird spots to finish.

Why are you so confident about that? He's a great college shot-blocker, but so are a lot of guys who never made it in the NBA. He has lots of potential but also seems like he's a long way from being ready to play at a high level in the NBA.

He looks like an elite defensive 4/5 hybrid combined with a developed outside shot. Excellent footwork on the defensive end, has no issues at all switching on guards and has lockdown potential on the perimeter. Incredible shot-blocking instincts combined with a decent athletic foundation, great measurements and a developing frame. He's quite foul prone right now, but mostly due to being overagressive and not mature enough (who could blame him, he's one of the youngest prospects in the draft).
On offense his shot is going in. The release point is a bit low, but as a big he's going to get it off. He also has potential as a roll man and can play on the perimeter due to his surprisingly good handling and passing ability. He's going to be able to attack closeouts with time and is a plus finisher at the rim.

He's the prototype every team is looking for in bigs.

You're looking good on this. He made 5 of 6 3's against Maryland about a week ago - that's crazy for a shot-blocker his size. And he's barely 18. Sky's the limit for him. Btw, that front court he's playing on is crazy good - better and bigger than some NBA teams.

I'd love to see his off ball game more. Everyone wants to compare him to Curry as a prospect but they just play so drastically different roles as prospects that its very difficult to even make the comp.

Are you sure we're talking about the same player? I'm talking about Jackson from Michigan St., big man. You are probably confusing him with Trae Young.

Wrong quote obviously haha. Though Jackson is sorta like what everyone wishes Thon could be but has zero chance of becoming.

Don't know if we've talked about him yet, but Landry Shamet is a very good player.

If the Lakers pick converts, I feel like they will want to use it on an elite C prospect. That would fit their core of young players better than Middleton as well.

Yurtseven is an interesting prospect in play for our second rounder if he declares. Offensive minded center but can block some shots and got a great jumper out to 3. Gets roasted in PnRs but could be an interesting bench piece.

Depressing but true. If they get Bamba I might cry.

Bamba
Tatum
Hayward
Brown
Kyrie

Suns and 76ers each have four second rounders on top of two first rounders, there should be plenty for sale again this year.

It's also top 47 protected and the way Kidd is coaching we just might keep it.
