I think Bender is still shook from getting schooled by CP3.

Problem for us has been defense 116 points conceded last 8 games.

Random thought: still irks me thinking about Ulis coming out of the draft saying he was at a good weight (155 lbs) and wouldn't endeavor to add any weight in the coming years.

You're either incredibly daft or grossly misinformed. Very disappointed the training staff haven't forced him to bulk up.

He sucked so bad. I hated him. Haha. I remember against Dallas a couple months later, I was putting a dish in the sink, n my little brother n my girlfriend at the time were watching as the final defensive possession was just happening....I said, "wait! I need to watch jrich leave kidd for the three". And I just turned the corner to see the tv as kidd drained the 3 off of Richardsons inept phantom help on the drive n kick. Of course. Lowest bball iq I'd seen in a long time.

Could have done that this past summer. We seem to be pretty committed to this rebuild, we almost have to just stay the course.

What worries me is that he's mentally soft. He has no fire. I remember reading somewhere when he was drafted that he doesn't want to play C, even though he's a 7 footer. Said he doesn't like to bang inside the paint and be physical.

The old nba, where the game was called very loose n physical, hands checks, etc, he wouldn't even make it. Guys would get physical beyond the three point line, 94ft, n he would get eaten alive inside.

We all used to laugh at euro softy ball, now the nba is even softer, to where a guy like Bender can make it, n a guy like curry can be a superstar.
