23 turnovers. Wall and Beal combo doesn't work well enough in 4th quarters.

Satoransky can play some point guard even though he doesn't have a great handle.

Of Porter is hurt let Chris McCullough play small forward. Try for a minute or two. Let him play through one or two mistakes. Then when the guy starts dunking and running and hitting 3-pointers say to yourself g-wiz...

Chris McCullough is not Otto Porter. How did he play when he played well in the past with both the Nets and at Syracuse very briefly? He can cover on the perimeter. He can get off his shot. He does have three point range. He does have lateral quickness. He is of the requisite height to be a power forward or a small forward.

This coach just can't see it.

The purposes that Chris McCulloch is just not a good player or you never would try it small forward even though I know it'll work.

Satoransky can play some point guard even though he doesn't have a great handle.

To me if I dope order is hurt let Chris McCullough play small forward. Try for a minute or two. Let him play through one or two mistakes. Then when the guy starts dunking and running and hitting 3-pointers say to yourself g-wiz...

Thing is - McCullough hasn't even played well in the G League - that bodes very poorly for his chances in the NBA. Because the Wiz still don't have their own G League team (they will next season, but as usual - they're behind the rest of the NBA), he's playing for Milwaukee's G League team - so what incentive does the Wisconsin G League team have to help develop him?

When we swing the ball after the we've got the defense off-balance from the initial play, it has to go to more than one player. Maybe do something as simple as start Beal with the pick on the elbow closer to the baseline, if that blows up, swing to Oubre/Porter who are great catch and shoot players. Nothing there, then swing to Wall on the other side of the court for which now he has PLENTY of room to work with to take his man off the drive. IDK. We just HAVE to do better than just Wall to Beal or Beal to Wall
I totally agree with you.

This is on the coach. When Randy Wittman to coach these guys in the playoffs they performed better than when Scott Brooks coach them in the playoffs. The same guy's balled out against Toronto in the playoffs years ago. They looked like crap against Boston in last year's playoffs.

I will never ever forget the lineups that Brooks chose to use. Bogdanovic, Mahinmi, with Jason Smith. Yuk!

I get the feeling that isoball that used to work for Westbrook and Durant with Harden is just not going to work with Beal and Wall. I think Scotty Brooks likes these young players. I think he has faith in them. However, by now I am sure he can tell they are not as good the players that used to coach. He allowed those guys to determine the outcomes.

I don't know enough to specifically say more and I could be wrong.

I'll never forget the bamboozles Wittman played on everyone when he finally played Pierce at the 4 only in the playoffs after we all have clamored for it all season long.

The Wizards never considered JaVale a 4.

I did.

Guys like Kevin Broom and I think Nate argued against... The McGee had absolutely no perimeter game. I always felt he should have been developed like Dirk or Pau. He has a similar body type to those guys. Not nearly the feet or hand coordination.

Instead of drafting guys like that the Wizards went out and got Nene and Emeka Okafor. Those guys aren't lean and long.

Nobody as athletic as Javale but guys like Booker and Vesley were considered athletic when they were drafted. Booker is supposed to be faster than John Wall. Vesley was athletic but didn't have much basketball skill and more importantly lacked confidence.
