johnson was gift-wrapped a starting spot and 30 minutes a game this year but he's been beyond awful offensively. bullock overtook him as a starter so SJ now gets 18-20ish minutes off the bench. he's been dealing with a hip injury all season and has missed some stretches, including tonight.

ellenson only plays in blowouts. he's atrocious on defense and offensively has some talent but nowhere near enough to make up for his defense.

Thanks for the insight. Enjoy your time north of the border when you visit for a game. I see you've been a few times already but if you need any suggestions of good low key spots to check out while you're in the city, you know where our forum is!

To expand, i do believe you place SJ or HE on another team and in the right system, they'll thrive. SVG just has a unique way of destroying players mental game, and notoriously tough on younger players.

Also thanks for offer, I am sure our board appreciates it.

Our PGs were a combine 2-17 shooting

That's pretty tough to overcome

Agreed. Unbelievable that Stan allowed Ish to continue shooting. :jawdrop:

This team has been a dumpster fire since that 14-6 start.... We'll likely fall below .500 over the course of the next week or two and be outside the playoffs looking in at the trade deadline with only two options... trade to push for playoffs or trade to tank. Staying the course yet again for another season would be worst case scenario.

Are there really people out there that actually believe a coach has ever told a player to stop shooting? That's terrible coaching.

Ah, so you know where Whisky a Go-Go is then

And as a lifelong Raptors fan who's faced many hardships following this team, I'd never question another Torontonian as to why they cheer for another franchise. We've been through some dark ages, to say the least...

oh yeah, went there a few times when i was living at york.

it's actually kind of my dream that we play toronto in the playoffs so i can re-live my younger years when the leafs played the sens in the playoffs. obviously toronto won every time but that might not be the case in the NBA :D
