This situation is one of the strangest things I've ever seen in the NBA. It feels like something out of a basketball movie.

You mean like Space Jam where the Monstars took the abilities of NBA players?

New member here saying hello. Is it possible that Fultz lost his Mojo when he got #20 from TLC? Maybe #7 was a luckier number for him? ;-)

Joel being a good teammate. Although considering our guards wouldn't be surprised if Fultz is doing well. Especially since he's been likely playing with T.J and being guarded by Bayless. Probably looks like Harden out there.

What do you expect man ? The Sixers fans are faced with the very real fact that after 3-4 years of tanking, of being patient with the team, after watching 15 win teams go out there for YEARS, that the very real reality is that BC may have traded away TWO potential top 3 picks AND passed on the potential ROTY for virtually NOTHING in return. Because that's what Fultz has been, nothing.

Its always kinda interesting to me that we talk so much about Fultz not playing yet some of the same people preach 'trust the process'.

It seems like the trust the process thing came from patience, waiting on Embiid and Ben, but Fultz better get his tail on the court right now. Seems like your willing to wait on those unknown picks (could be Noel or Okafor for all we know) and hope they develop into something, but not willing to allow Fultz to develop.

Fultz is part of the process, either you have the patience for him to develop or 'trust the process' didn't really mean anything to you in the first place.

I think it makes a big deal on who is exactly running this phase of the process. If you have confidence in the person running the process then patience comes a lot easier.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

I don't think he's playing until he can at least shoot a 3 pointer at a middle school level.

Well it does irritate me that Jojo just said the 'he doesn't need a jump shot' phrase that Brown just said the other day. We didn't draft him to be Ben Simmons, we drafted him to fit another role. But I can also see how the question is starting to irritate everyone involved, so they are just spiting out an answer at this point.

Glad to hear they are running the pick and roll with him, and we will just have to play the waiting game cause they don't seem ready to just throw him out to the wolves yet.

Yea i'm interpreting the he doesn't need a jumper thing, as just them trying to say even without that he's still good. Trying to pay him a complement essentially. I think the fact that he isn't playing right now means everyone in the organization understands that we can't send him out there until he's shooting normal again.

I don't usually endorse anyone listening to a video with Screamin' A in it, but Max Kellerman is voicing my narrative (Colangelo's fault) and that keeps me warm at night.

It is. We're used to weird timelines and suspicious injuries after the prime Process years but this is next level. Perfectly healthy young prospect with no red flags tweaks his ankle and suddenly forgets how to play the game. And no one has any real info on what's happening (including Fultz himself).

Nothing to do but wait and see, and hope that this all becomes one of those 'remember when...' things after Fultz comes back and does more or less what we thought he would. I wish so many folks here didn't feel so much need to throw around blame and run with theories they really don't know a damn thing about, but it is really bizarre and I understand we all gotta deal with the waiting and uncertainty somehow.

A lot of these statements seem like preparation both to the media and the fan-base of playing him without his shot being back 100%. Frankly I don't even think you need to do that. If he's good enough within the arc I think at this point people will be ok with it if he isn't than all hell breaks loose.
