YOUR Washington Bullets ARE 25-20!

They are no longer ahead of last year's pace. A year ago they were the exact same record except they were a team surging at the perfect time. This team? It seems to be deteriorating before our eyes. John and Brad have good numbers on the month but their on-ball defense has stunk. Otto can't shoot, can't run, can't do anything the way he was doing it in October-December. Morris is terrible and deserving of an amazingly sucky thread. Gortat isn't rotating as well on defense and also has no touch around the rim. Scott Brooks mentioned finding guys who will compete. So who gets more minutes? Who gets less?

The Pistons are sitting above .500 and are fighting to maintain playoff positioning. The Wiz already has has beaten the Pistons twice in DC. It's been tough to win at the Motor City in recent seasons.

I'd bet even money that Morris won't start tonight. The only question I have is if it'll be Scott or Oubre that replaces him in the starting lineup. I'm fine either way, though I think not having Scott on the 2nd unit could really hamper their offense.

I'd really like to see Brooks break out of his "building player confidence" mode. Instead of always telling players to shoot, he needs to start having a quick hook, particularly with Wall, when they take ill-advised shots or fail to compete defensively.

Ish Smith, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond will all have a double double this game. Until I see or here anything different regarding this roster, Brooks is just like the players, all talk.

Little known stat. Wizards are only 1-5 when I don’t make a crack about Dante Cunningham.

That would be nice.

Perhaps you could mix it up... put him at a different position every time and have us posters play "guess which one is Dante Cunningham."

You never know, it might up the pregame traffic.

If I had to guess, I would wager that Dante Cunningham is the one with “Cunningham” written on the back of his jersey.

I'm old. I'm thinking Richie Cunningham. Happy Days went off the air 40 years ago.

This is a national TV game to be televised on ESPN.

Wizards will lose.

I always like to see Gortat go up against Andre Drummond. Marcin usually has his better games against Ramen.

I hate this voice translator..

Does Brooks have the balls to even sit one of the starters?

I'm keeping it real here.

I will post two or three things in the positivity thread... later. They're hard to do right now.

Don't be too pesimistic. It's Pistons. Like Magic, we usually crush them! No no, not in a blowout fashion, but I mean we are in winning streaks against them.

So Brooks keeps the starting lineup in tact, lets see how quick he is with the trigger to take guys out.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
