He's playing 6 less minutes per game than his rookie season. He's up 15% on his 3p% from his rookie year (on the same amount of attempts per game), still showing great versality on the defense, and this all after missing his sophomore season. If you look at him play now and think he's a worse player than his rookie year I'd have to question the validity of your criteria for player improvement

Honestly I Don't believe Justise will ever become a first option, or even a second option on a good team.

He can still be an Allstar though, if he become an Iggie type player that play well on both ends and brings the winning plays.

About his growth arc - Jimmy butler took 4-5 years to establish himself, and he came into the NBA at a much older age then Justise had. Justise has time on his side, what he doesn't have (IMO) is the natural talent to ever become a great scorer. Might become a good one - with more development.

Never said he was a worse player. I said that the potential he shown his rookie season he hasn't progressed at a pace that deserves the type of patience that people want to have with him. Solid role players aren't untradable.

Look at the jumps year by year Jimmy had and by that 4th season you couldn't deny that he was an allstar. Winslow hasn't really varied much year by year other then slight improvements.

Only a handful of players in the league are untradeable, anybody on our roster could be moved for the right deal. He's only played in 48 games since his rookie year, essentially half a season. He has time, a lot of good careers may have never been realized if the book was closed after 1.5 seasons of play.
