Reality is that Mitchell & Markkenen are likely the only two generational talents in this draft, and they went 7 & 13. Tatum could be but I'm still not sold on that yet. But Mitch & Markk have otherworldly, transcendent abilities. They were just poorly scouted. It happens & will continue to happen.

Lol, Generational talents?
Lebron is a generational talent; Connor McDavid is a generational talent.
Those 2 players you listed are not.

It’s amazing the difference having Embiid, an All-Star starter, makes compared to Amir Johnson, a role player in the twilight of his career.
Also, is that graph comparing the rookies with and without Embiid and Rubio? I don’t get the relevancy of Rubio here.

good question! the relevance is that Mitchell plays a ton of minutes with Rubio, meaning - if Rubio would go away, Mitchell would be even better than he already is.
the point being, Mitchell is being hurt significantly by Rubio, where Simmons is being helped greatly by Embiid.

This year in comparison to last year in terms of rookies is night and day. I am honestly enjoying watching the whole crop of rookies. We may not see this many good ones again in years.

I’m watching the game also. With Gobert back it has resulted in Mitchel no longer being the number one option resulting in him having a reduced impact.

You’re saying Gobert is the #1 option?

On the Jazz, Absolutely! He’s the clear best player on your team

I don't know why but he seems like he has some sort of axe to grind with Mitchell. I don't know if Mitchell killed his favorite pet or something, but there is nothing but trash coming out of nurseryc on Mitchell.
In what world is Gobert no. 1 option on the Jazz when he's sporting 17-18% USG, and Mitchell is at close to 30? The main problem for Mitchell when Gobert returns will not be the number of shot he gets. It will be the quality of shots because of the Rubio-Favors-Gobert Bermuda trianlge(as we call it on the Jazz board). The presence of all of those on the floor will mean Mitchell will have to work through much more clogged paints and will get much more heavily contested shots. Today's game was prime example of that.
