Funny fact about this game. Andre played 42 minutes, he didn't play for 6 minutes, we lost the game in those 6 minutes, he was +3.

That 2nd quarter bench lineup cost us the game, even if the 3rd quarter is where we played no defense.

SVG continues to be the only coach that does those all bench lineups and literally every time we give up a big run with that lineup. I just don't think SVG is all that great of a coach tbh.

If I were Gores, and I was at that game, I would have walked right over to Doris Burke and complimented her on her hair. Then I would have asked her audibly, if she would be interested in a President of Basketball Operations position in the NBA, while handing her a business card.

This current starting lineup and bench unit just isn't very talented. We hurt our bench by having to promote Ish Smith and Bullock to the starting lineup. Those guys aren't starting quality so our starting unit is crap as well. Yuck...

"I did a good job of trying to get my teammates open," Drummond said. "I probably could have been a little more aggressive when I did have the ball on the wing. I just wasn't in the flow of the offense to really get some shots off. I'm a defensive stopper. I grab rebounds and I get my teammates open. I think we should do a better job of getting everybody a little more involved."

Dre is clueless. He also seems to think rebounds = defense. He had taken two shots in the first half, ended up taking FIVE all game while playing over 40 minutes.

I absolutely consider rebounding a defensive stat...your limiting your opp. offensive opportunities...

Sure it's a defensive stat, but it alone doesn't make you a "defensive stopper". And it's all Dre does well defensively, so for him to call himself a "defensive stopper" he must think rebounding is the end all and be all of it.
