Winslow is 43% from distance. He has improved from that area. He just needs his feet set. So we can't even run him through screens like Wayne. He just has to be parked and his man sleeping on him. Smh.

He hit 1/2 tonight, so he's almost at 44%.

Pretty bad loss tonight. I'm pretty furious with how some of our vets are playing too.

We should definitely start Olynyk next to Whiteside in Charlotte. James Johnson isn't playing well for over a week.

I really thought the Nets had outrebounded us by 10 or more, but it was 43-44, very close, and we actually beat them in offensive rebounds.

I mentioned before... this was the last game of the Nets' homestand. We are a tired team on our 3 game of a 5 game roadtrip with a game to play the next night 1000 miles away. It doesn't look too good for us in Charlotte either, but I think we'll rebound. If we do, we'll probably play well against star-studded Houston.

Winslow absolutely sucked tonight dude. You can sugar coat it all you want.

I watched him tonight more closely than ever. I'm of the opinion he may not be in the NBA in 2020. He has almost no athletic ability at this level. Slow as a turtle. Can't break his man down, can't finish and can't dribble in traffic. What does he do? The HEAT need a serious rethink on his future. He'll never be a quality starter in the NBA. Can he be a good sub? I'm not sure.

Get well soon Rodney.

Firstly he is a +0.3 in 30-39 minutes. You may say this is a small sample size though - he had only played 2 games in that range. Well he has only played 0-9 minutes once. He played 8 minutes and was +10.

The largest sample size is 20-29 minutes, where he is a -2.4. The team overall has a -50 in those 20 games so loses by -2.5, so were on average a -0.1 when he was off the floor too. Justise seems to play in that range more often against top teams - warriors, spurs and twolves are among the big losses where justise played those mins

We gave up a first round pick just to get rid of him. And if he has more games like this, Brooklyn is probably getting another pick by flipping him at the deadline. smh.

SpoSucks, is that really the name you chose? Look. I started watching basketball when I was a teenager and by now have watched 1000s of games. I see promise and problems with Winslow's game. I still believe in the kid.

There, yes. But we lost badly in Miami a few weeks ago. Worse than tonight actually.

Still bad with a total -3.3, and remember that Justice killing the spacing also has an impact on his teamates plus minus..

At 1.1, his WS contribution is also worse among players getting significant minutes

Box plus minus at -1.3 is also 2nd worse among players getting significant minutes, worse being waiters..so he is worse than nba average

2 pt shooting % is also worse among players getting significant playing time while they make more of 75% of his attempted shots..

Here are on/off courts mostly negatives, team seem to do better with him off the court..

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/winslju01/on-off/2018

So if your team goes in a scoring slump in the last 6 min of the 3rd quarter where they score 0 pts and go 0 of 16 while the opponent erase a 16pts lead do you stubornly keep Justice on the floor and bring him back to play most in the 4th quarter ?

That missed layup when we were building that lead was a turning point/momentum killer, everyone was traumatised to see that and we had a collective brain fart for the rest of the game...

Love Justice and most of this is on the coaching staff for failing to develop him, refusing to send him to the dleague work on his game, forcefeeding him starting spots and high playing times to justify the high pick, and not recognising when and where to play him to his strenghts for the benefice of the team..

Winslow with the worst plus minus agaibst the hornets again at -13, he is most often a negative because nobody respect his offensive game wich kills any spacing

I woild package winslow and waiters for a late fisrt pick or a player like Hood or Walker...

Imagine Walker in the waiters role in the 4th...

Or hood in the Babbit role...
