Watching the magic the last couple of games the whole problem may have only been on coaching. Khem birch looked amazing in the summer league and go figure plays amazing defense and hustle when played. He is an amazing x factor for us in the last couple games, an older crappier clint capela for us really. That being said, Vogel and even Forcier not giving a guy who hustles and tries hard a chance until now is extrememly discouraging after watching this team limp out with no effort for all year. Yes we probably are directly tanking even though they arent officially saying it, but vogel has no control over this team. The magic play with a little bit of hustle and we arent getting blown out and staying with the best teams in the league.

Hustle and hard work is contagious and the coaching staff should know this despite playing the big contracts when they arent performing. Dare I say I miss the Brian hills who would sit our “good” players when they sucked?? Also Vogels offense makes Brian Hills princeton offense look like modern day warriors. If this guy ran a single play ever it would be amazing. How did he get this job again? His tooth brush trick?

Why would Forcier be blamed for Birch not getting any run? Hell I'm pretty sure he's the one spearheading the development on him and the other players. Vogel is the guy calling the shots and he's very slow and ignorant towards doing it. Showed the exact same stubbornness in Indiana.

Birch should've been in the rotation the second Vuc got hurt. Now his good play (not surprised he's playing this good tbh) is making Vogel look even more clueless than he already is.

I agree. My logic with Forcier was that he is the player development coach and should be in Vogels ear everyday that Birch needs minutes and hes ready. If I saw birch playing like that and Vogel wasnt listening to me Id be furious. Id hope he is doing that and Vogel is some weird stubborn tyrant, as he probably is.
