http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yb3smn4c Reasons:
Knicks - trade a couple productive players that are on the last remaining part of there contracts and get some value for them. Take on Aldrichs extra year to get a little more value.
Celtics - there bench lacks shooting and interior defense. This trade accomplishes both without trading much value. KOQ is a upgrade over Baynes. Better rebounder, interior defender, and a more polished on the offensive end.(better passer for brad's unselfish offense). I don't know how the celtics roster situation is because I know they have a lot of players. I guess if the knicks like one of the young players that aren't currently in the rotation that maybe have late 1st round value that could be subbed in as well.
T-wolves - taking a player that doesn't play and adding a little insurance with Baynes. And a vet wing defender in Lance Thomas (thibs loves defenders) and he is someone you can throw on a durant or Harden a few times a game and he will compete on that end.
