Can somebody give me a summary on what's so great about Fizdale? I don't know much about his background other than he coached one season a few games above .500 in Memphis and then got fired after losing 8 in a row and benching Gasol.

Me too, and just call it interim. Make no promises for next season type of thing as I'd want a wide open search. What would he have to lose.

Not that I would advocate for them either, but isn't Stackhouse pretty well regarded as a G League coach? Been a lot of talk about him stepping into the big league as a coach in time

No chance they're hiring a new permanent coach in the middle of the season. The best candidates have other jobs.

Go Bucks!

Glad we had the cajones to pull the trigger midseason.

Excited to learn more about what was really going on in that lockerroom.

Hes just a **** coach bro, i think he has lived off his rep as a player for far too long, would be surprised to see him get another gig in the league.

We had Kidd as a player and a coach. Won't ever forget his on court play. That's where my respect for that guy ends, so its not shocked that he got booted out of here. Good luck to you guys, you've got way too much talent to only be a game or so over .500

Alex Lasry will shift his talents from scouting players to scouting coaches.

I have never, in 46 years, wanted a coach or player gone as badly as I wanted this piece of crap gone. It's like my wedding day but way, way, way better.

Also assistant during the Heat titles and I think we'd all say the MIA coach is a good one, so if that trickles to him. But yea I agree i wouldn't want to just go all in on him right away but just to finish the year, why not.

Why would Fizdale agree to that? He's currently getting paid out his Grizzlies contract and he's also being paid by ESPN. There's a 0% chance he'd do that.
