He seems like a good person, but a mediocre coach. He'd be an improvement, but a marginal one in the scheme of things. Hope we cast a wider net and set a higher standard.

Williams was liked by his players? So the **** what? He was 173-221 and 0-4 in the playoffs. Give me someone who has had some NBA coaching SUCCESS please.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I know it's being reported that Giannis was devastated by the decision, but that doesn't mean he actually felt that way. He might be following the LeBron playbook and distancing himself from a decision he actively advocated for.

So who thinks the brass caught wind of our Hammon discussion and hires her?

We can do better than Monty.

I want someone who has learned from the best, values statistics, can run an offense and a competent defense.

That man? Ettore Messina.

The guys on PTI are so uninformed. Not a surprise, but still.

I think it's total bull. Probably mis-info from Kidd camp.

It was reported by Chris Haynes who also said the locker room was devastated by cutting GPII. Clear his source is close to Kidd.

Tony Bennett from Virginia is a really strong candidate, also has the Brogdon connection (prob a huge reason why Brog is such a smart player)

I like Messina as an Xs and Os guy, but you've got to wonder why he hasn't gotten a job already. The rumor is that he's not very personable.

Fizdale if we want a retread, Tony Bennett, Shaka Smart or Becky Hammond if we don't.

I suspect Kidd is pissed and whether he says so himself or not it's about to get ugly in the press.

Deer Bucks fans, I don't know if you've Herd but the Bucks have fired Jason Fawn.

Reluctant and-1.

I have to leave this here from the GB:

NO WISER WORDS HAVE EVER BEEN UTTERED IN THE HISTORY OF HUMANITY

Dunno what has Messina learned in SA, but I really enjoyed seeing his teams fail in Euroleague Finals year after year, despite having by far the largest budget and the most blatant referee support in FIBA basketball. He was not the solution 10 years ago, and I'd bet real money that he isn't now either

I'm dubious about college coaches. Some have been successful, some have not. Bennett would be an interesting choice.

Our owners are smarter than I thought. Nice. Now to the tougher question. Coaching options?
